Best for price
Received the item today, and I will say that this is the best you can get for this price. Perfect for anatomy/med students studying head and neck. I will admit that there is likely some variability from one skull to the next since each one is hand-labeled. For example, some previous photos don’t include arrows pointing to various spaces/sinuses, and the one I received does. So all the changes on mine seem to be improvements. Also ignore the comment about the foramen being mislabeled. That person simply didn’t notice the 18 and 19 next to each other. 18 is the foramen magnum, 19 is the occipital condyle. The other thing is that the marker can definitely smudge over time, so I might try the suggestion to cover the numbers with clear nail polish.Edit: Still a great product. Everything I have studied so far is labeled and positioned correctly. The only problem is that a few words are misspelled on the reference sheet. (ex: "madible" and "tempralis muscle")

Definitely worth it for the price. A lot of structures not labeled are still visible. Numbers smudge off pretty easily. Some of the foramen are are partially covered in plastic remains that should have been removed but it's nothing a pencil stab couldn't remove. The pictures uploaded have arrows that I drew on for my Anatomy exam. Was very helpful in visualization and much cheaper than the other skulls available.

Great for anatomy class
Great for anatomy class, or if you need to learn all the sutures, bones, or parts of the skull. It is a 3 piece skull.

Good product
The number's rub off easily but it's overall a good product and very useful for studying, just bear in mind that you'll need a permanent marker to remark the numbers. As well as, you will have to use it with dry hands not oily or sweaty

I wanted to use this for my anatomy class but my professor pointed out that it was not anatomically correct.

The only way you'll find better is if you pay $2000 for a real skull.
I had to write a review of this skull model because it is so excellent! The detail is outstanding, nearly as good as having a real skull. The only thing that is missing is the sphenopalatine foramen, which is difficult to see even on a real skull. If you are looking to buy a skull model for medical school anatomy class (or any health profession) you will not find a better model at any price. At $40 bucks it's an amazing value.

Great quality, great detail
Great quality, great detail. "Fred" (yes, we named him) really helped with clinical anatomy. Yes, unlike an actual human skull, the foramen do no go all the way through, but it is easy to see where they begin and end on all sides.
