I have purchased 4 of these. I want to purchase 4 more. If you suffer from headaches and find that icing your head (or neck) helps relieve some of the discomfort, these are absolutely a must have. I also use these for middle of the night awakenings where I just cant fall asleep.You look absolutely bonkers walking around with this thing on, but being able to take the edge off a headache when you would otherwise be shut down by it, means still having hands to parent and hobble along with the ceaseless housekeeping that would go undone. These are nice to wear straight on the skin; much nicer than typical ice packs for coolers or ice cubes in a bag.These things are all Pros in my book, but there are some Cons: They don't seem like they stay cold as long some other ice pack option, and they don't refreeze quickly, so get extra if you have some real bangers that might need a second dose. The velcro on these is also a bit questionable and seems wear out with frequent use, but I have had one of these for years and it still sticks well enough, and a second bit of extra velcro (just the scratchy bit) more than makes up for the deficit.

I love it helps cool me off and work well with headaches and size is great. Quality is top notch, very smart design.

Picked the head band for the price. It looked like others & had decent reviews. It works okay for hot & cold but not great. The gel pack inside thaws after about 20 min & it doesn’t hold heat for very long either. A decent alternative to holding a bag of frozen veggies to your head. Might be worth buying two to alternate.Updating: Would recommend an alternative. After using for longer than a year, I would say it doesn’t get cold enough even after a long freeze & after about 10 minutes, the pack has melted & is soft again. I’m looking for something better.

Okay product. Did not hold cold temps longer than 10 min. Purchased two of these to use intermittently for migraine therapy. Soft material w gel. Velcro gets “stuck” in hair which becomes a challenge.

I have another one of these type of products from a different seller that was about 50% more expensive than this. I wanted a second one because I liked it, but came across this at a cheaper price and adjustable tightness. This is the only one I found with adjustable tightness which is what drew me to it along with the cheaper price. I'm so happy I went with it because it is definitely just as good, if not more versatile than the expensive ones. It doesn't get the top of the head but that's fine. It doesn't have any unpleasant smell. I did put it in a ziplock bag before putting it in the freezer so it doesn't get any freezer smell or food smell. It's a comfortable weight, and in fact, is probably lighter than the more expensive ones since it doesn't have more material at the top. To make it colder and let the coldness last longer, I would put it at the very bottom of the fridge for a couple hours. If you only keep it at the top of the fridge for 20min as the instructions say, it gets cold but certainly not as cold. I plan to also use the heat therapy for my jaw by wrapping it around my face, something I couldn't do with the other kinds. Definitely a good buy.
