I bought 2 of these and made a huge blanket using it. The texture feels good. Machine washable and I have washed it a couple of times. It comes with the smell but it is washable. The color is exactly what I wanted too.

The yarn size and thickness is great for hand knitting. Works well and is very warm.

Wool in several of the skeins were tied together.

Got this in black and loved it. Best yarn I have gotten off amazon. Thicker than others and out of 8 only had two small bad spots.

They are very soft, but some parts of the chenille were missing. I was able to hide the bald patches within the blanket. I also thought the blanket ended up being very small compared to the amount of product per skein listed in the description. Each skein should have had 25 yards of material, but after knitting the first 2 skeins, I did some measurements and realized my blanket was not going to be the size I expected. I ended up measuring the other 6 skeins (yes, I was that person), and they each measured only 20 yards + 30". So, that left me with roughly 33 fewer yards than what was described in the product details. I had to order another 8 skeins, and only used 2 of them to finish my 50 x 40 blanket. Overall, the material is soft and cozy, but make sure you order enough to finish your project.
