The writer: a senior retired male who has enjoyed quite good health throughout his life. Even though I have an open mind (I think) I am always at least a little skeptical about the hype for anything that promises relief or cure to any physical ailment. But circumstances made me desparate for relief and so as reported below I began to look for natural fixes for a long term discomfort. After about 3 years of moderate and uncomfortable pain just below the rib cage on my right side, and many doctors visits with different doctors, unfortunately all leading nowhere, about 6 mos ago I went to an exceptionally professional and thorough doctor who knew that it could be my gall bladder and, very importantly, knew the precise test to check the gall baldder with a high degree of certainty as to results. It is called a HIDA scan (Google it), and I had one done forthwith. The test showed my gall bladder pretty much clogged up with sludge, with minimal motility for the bile that is supposed to pass through it in concert with the liver releasing bile, all to help digestion as I grasp it. Not good! And almost surely the cause of my three year old discomfort! Which often forced me to lie down when I had a flare, which often could occur days on end. Also, not good. And it seems the flares came after eating, which matches the diagnosis (as I understand the details) The recommendation is normally to have the gall bladder removed, but since I am fond of the organs I arrived on this planet with, I decided to look at natural medicine first. After doing some light reading, but immediately after the HIDA scan, I came across this product: Dr Christopher's Liver+Bladder liquid. I have been taking it a few times a day, several drops in usually organic apple juice and it has provided me with noticeable relief. This product has several herbal/natural ingredients in it which help soothe and nourish the gallbladder. It has made a difference in my normal daily comfort level and I can recommend it for a try to anyone who might have gall bladder issues. Try it, you might find relief, not necessarily a "cure," but apparent relief. That is what I have found. I will give it a year maybe two, as long as I get relief, before I visit the gall bladder surgeon to discuss bladder removal. Hopefully, that day will never come. Good luck.

I've been using this off and on for years. The taste is not terrible at all. I use this when I can feel my gallbladder acting up. I'll keep purchasing.

Good product, BAD description. Actual ingredients: Barberry Bark, Wild Yam Root, Cramp Bark, Fennel Seed, Ginger Root, Catnip & Peppermint Leaf in a base of pure vegetable glycerine. Not like in Amazon photos above saying ir has MILK THISTLE and DANDELION. Dr. Christophers webpage does not misrepresent; AMAZON does.

I mix this in with a small glass of organic apple cider and drink prior to each meal and it helps reduce my gallbladder attacks.

I prefer the herbal tincture to the herb capsules. Using several formulas at once, for up to 3x/day is just too many capsules for me to swallow, and they seem to stick in my esophagus somewhere on the way down. Even after I drink a quart of water. So I now use the liquid and just mix all the liquid formulas into a little juice, and voila! Much easier to drink them and they are just as effective medicinally. It's is important to cleanse the liver and gallbladder, they are a foundation to our health. When the liver does not function properly, the bile does not excrete freely into the intestinal tract, and so it passes off into the blood stream and throughout the rest of the system, causing a variety of toxic conditions. The combination of herbs in this formula will tone, cleanse, and rebuild the liver and gallbladder to function optimally and eliminate toxins from the body. This formula is safe for long-term (as in years) use, but Dr. Christopher has always said "use the formulas for 6 days/week and rest on the 7th day". Following a cleansing program, the goal is to clean out the years of impacted fecal matter and rebuild the bowel structure sufficiently to have the peristaltic muscles work entirely on their own.
