Good Filter Replacement Pads
Quality set of replacement pads, while specific for the Cascade 700/1000 CCF2UL/CCF3UL, can easily be cut to shape for other filters. I use Marina hangon filters, and use pieces of filter pads in concert with Seachem Matrix for crystal clear, problem free water. This set includes all the filter pads needed for staggered filtration, from catching large particles to very small.

Changed my review - SOAK IN WATER FIRST
Initially i rated one star because they were vacuum sealed and came out of the package crushed flat and did not spring up. Just stayed that way. There were no instructions on what to do. I eventually thought, “Well, let’s get one wet. Maybe that will help.” And it did. Let them soak in water overnight. They white ones just stayed flat. Including one little line printed on a sheet of paper would have been smart. Don’t think I will buy from this seller again.

Versatile Filter Pads
These Pawfly filter pads come vacuum-sealed and very clean.I ordered these pads for my cat's water fountain. They don't fit perfectly, but they work well enough and are less expensive than the manufacturer's filters. They arrived very flat but expanded a little when opened; however, I soaked them in warm water before putting them in the water fountain, and they puffed up the remainder. There is nothing else you can say about them except that they are good filters for the price.

These fit perfect, but are very, very thin
I used these on a Cascade 700 canister filter and they fit great. The only thing is that they are very thin, leaving me to believe that they may not last long or be reused. All of the pads are thin so I used 2 each. They filter great the way I have it and the flow is still strong. For the same price, there are other filters that are much thicker.

The arrive vacuum packed but expand
Good value sponges for canister filter. They arrive very flat but expand once the air gets to them. Hard to know how well they are working as only just started using them but so far my tank water seems clear

Horrible packaging!
I understand the need to compress for shipping and storage reasons, but you destroyed these poor filters! The ones on the left are a competitor, and the ones on the right are from this manufacturer. The white filters are thin from both manufacturers. But as you can tell these were totally destroyed in compression/shipping.

Not really made for cascade 1000s
These filter pads are too small for a Penn Plax Cascade 1000. They will still fit in it, but it will leave a lot of open space around them. This on it's own probably wouldn't be too big an issue, but the "Filter Floss" style pads are very thin and dense. I tried airing them out for over a month and tried to let them soak in water, nothing made them less dense. When running water over them it hardly went through, so I imagine in a filter with gaps around the edges most of the water would make itself around your filter media. This makes your filter not really work too well. Traditional filter floss is not dense at all and is more air than anything else, this allows it to trap and hold waste material until you clean it. This stuff will just catch it on one side until it clogs rather quickly and bypasses all media. The "name brand" pads are $10 per 6 and fit perfectly. Saving a few bucks to have your filter be less efficient and need cleaned more often isn't a trade off I consider worth it. If you want to save money just buy sheets of filter floss in bulk and a pair of scissors. The non-floss pads may work well in the 700, but I don't have one to test these in.
