These VIter energy mints are an interesting caffeine option. They are easy to travel with and of course do not have the chance of mess issues like a hot cup of coffee or a spilled can of energy drink. They have a very very strong mint flavor that could be a bit harsh for some, but its no different than a really strong candy breath mint. I did not detect any off-putting after taste or anything else in these. They do freshen the breath so that is an added bonus. I did feel that I got a bit of an energy boost after taking these. The advertising on the sales listing page is a bit confusing and I feel is worth noting if you are considering purchasing this product. While the heading says "Peppermint Flavor, 1 pack", the picture that lists supplement facts states "serving size 1 piece, servings per container 90". Additionally, the 4th picture in their listing states "3 mints per pack, 90 mints per box". When product arrived, I received something totally different - 2 packs, each with 3 mints. So between all of those, you are left wondering if you are getting 1 pack of 3 mints or a whole box (90 count) as it lists in various other places in the listing, only to then receive something totally different (2 packs, 3 mints in each). Maybe this is just a sample listing, but hopefully that kind of stuff is corrected so customers are certain of what they are spending money on. Energy drinks are expensive, but if I'm only getting between 3 - 6 mints for $7 as this listing states right now, it seems a bit pricy to me personally. I did notice that this brand sells a larger bulk bag and the mints are only like 20 cents a piece that way...so probably bulk is the better way to go if this is your caffeine route of choice.

I went in pretty critical of these energy mints just purely off their price. I've tried dozens of different caffeine gums and pills over the years because drinking coffee often doesn't have much of an effect on me, and I really love the convenience and price that pills and gums have. With that being said, although I've very familiar with taking caffeine outside of a cup, this is my first time trying a caffeine mint.And wow, does this work for me! The energy hits me immediately after tasting one. There's only one other brand of caffeine gum I've tried that kicks in as fast as these mints from Viter, so this is really as good as it gets. (Worth noting that the said caffeine gum also contains B6 and Sorbitol like these Viter mints.)The flavor is just very strong mint with little to no sweetness. I read a lot of other reviews saying they got a strong aftertaste, and I'm someone who is usually sensitive to artificial aftertastes, but I honestly got nothing at all from these mints. I don't know, but maybe the strong mint flavor plays a role in helping give that kick of energy? They do, however, dry out my mouth a good bit; but it's a miniscule price to pay for the kick they offer.Now, the price is extremely high for just 3 mints, no two ways about it. However, I was curious if Viter offers bulk options, and they do! So the high price you're paying here is just for a sample set, and their bigger options are actually well priced! So that's totally reasonable in my eyes. Viter has a line of Extra Strength Mints (and Gums), which also offer 80mg of caffeine and the ingredients list matches up to a tee, and the line includes a Peppermint flavor. This sample set just happens to have a different look from anything else that they offer, which threw me off for a moment.I did not go in expecting much at all from these Viter mints, but they really blew me away. Highly recommend you try first with this "sampler set" of 3, and then look into Viter's other offerings. I will absolutely be buying a bulk pack as soon as I get through my current bag of gum!

These mints are expensive and come in a 3-pack. I did receive two 3-packs instead of one, which would lower the cost significantly if the company does this consistently. The mints are described as containing the same amount of caffeine as the amount in a cup of coffee. The mints dissolve in the mouth over about five minutes, and have an intense mint flavor. I did not note much of an aftertaste. I did not experience any noticeable jolt of energy, but I also did not get my usual mid-morning fatigue, so I imagine that the caffeine boost is there. I do enjoy a morning cup of coffee, but would use these mints when I don’t have coffee readily available and need additional focus and energy.

Usually I taste products strictly on the product as price is variable and what is expensive to me may be affordable for you, but there is a point where the value is so out of wack (positive or negative) that it impacts my review. This is one of those cases.The flavor is nice enough, it's strong but not too strong. Not as strong as an altoid. they dissolve slowly, which i appreciated, & don't really have much funky after taste considering they have vitamins & caffeine in. I will say though that the price is bananas. I got 2 packets (though the listing is for one), which is 6 mints. Currently at 7 dollars that's more than a dollar a mint - more than 2/mint if they actually package them as a single pack as listed. I understand they're marketing them as an alternative to coffee, but at the same time coffee is significantly more enjoyable than a mint & i feel like a cup of coffee is more effective in that it has the ritual associated with it that kind of gets you going even before the caffeine kicks in. If i just wanted portable energy I'd get pep pills for way less, but i want some pleasure with my caffeine.

These mints were very minty. I only took one and I really could tell a difference in my energy level. It says take 2 an hour or 5 a day. It was very effective for the whole day with just the one for me

I'm not a fan of these Viter energy caffeine mints. I like the convenience of a getting that boost of caffeine and B vitamins in a mint form. It makes is super easy to throw in your backpack and take them when you're on the go. My issue is that while the mint flavor is strong, there is a weird gross aftertaste that fills your mouth. I'm not sure if its the sweetener that they used or what ingredient is causing it but I couldn't finish the piece.
