Exactly what I needed

Defective and Poor Design
I purchased two of these for two separate gates. One of the two was broken in the unsealed package in a way that I can't adjust the tension. The second of two was fine but still couldn't maintain tension adjustment. The issue is that maintaining tension adjustment requires turning a hex bolt and then placing a manufacturer-provided steel shim to keep the hex bolt head fixed in the adjusted position. Neither of the steel shims are thick enough to engage the hex bolt to maintain the adjustment. Both units are completely worthless and don't function as described or specified.

It's junk
Unusable. Poorly made. One side is too wide to accept the adjustment lock bar, the other side accepts it, but when you attempt to put more tension on the spring, tghe other hex nut just rotates, you CANNOT att spring tension.Don't waste your time. I'd give zero stars if I could...

I received an defective part. Neither end of the spring was secured so there was no way to tighten it.

Not as described or pictured. DO NOT ORDER
The product sent was not the length listed, not heavy duty, not as pictured. The only thing that was right was the model number. Complete waste of my time.

Not a good design
Don't waste your money. The mechanism to lock the spring just keeps slipping. Over the matter of one week it is not useless.

Very cheaply made
The media could not be loaded. Poorly made. The spacer to hold tension wasn't thick enough and kept popping out, so I had to add an extra piece to build it up. And that popping sound? That's the sound of the bolt spinning on the spring, which will eventually become too loose to close the gate. I'm on the second one now with same results

Item does not work, pour manufacture
Item is not as per the description and photos, it is only a spring, not hydraulic and differed from what is in the photos, the pour manufacture makes this product unusable

Terrible Product
The spring attaches easily with the hardware provided, however, the turns required to set the tension do not set the spring. The spring turns on itself and does not get tighter. The design is terrible. i tried everything to make it work with no luck.
