the best! so glad that discovered them. been waring the f91-w for many years and hated their faint backlight that barely worked. This watch has all the awesomeness of f91-w with an amazing backlight

This watch is a timeless classic, it’s super comfortable. Perfect size for any wrist, large enough screen to easily see the display. The quality is unmatched, and my personal favorite is the black light, it’s a full screen light up that alone is the main reason I purchased the watch. With the color, comfort, and price you can’t go wrong.

i love it it’s really nice …. but it’s to small for my wrist ugh !! i may have to return it for a larger band it’s too small for me. Beautiful and simple it’s truly a gem. Unfortunately i’m on my last loop and it’s just too small. The face gives me a kid vibe a teenage vibe it’s just a tad too small for me

This is a simple, light-weight, dependable, inexpensive wrist watch with a rubber-like band. Not trendy or elegant. I love this watch. I've been wearing it for more than 30 years. Multi-functional time, date, running timer and more settings. When the long-lasting batteries die, I throw out the old watch and put on a new one. I always have at least one in reserve.

I could not ask more from a watch, keeps excellent time and is durable. For the money you cant do better

As a woman with tiny woman wrists, this watch is cute! Its light and not too masculine. The large screen and illumination is why I got it. My eyes aren't what they used to be and my casio vintage watches with the orango backlight was not cutting it anymore. Love them and will always wear them but for my day to day, this is the best.

The F105W is the best watch you can get. I cannot call it the best budget watch as the F91W is still the crowned king, however, with the improvement of backlight with CASIO's Electroluminescence (EL), this ultimately becomes the better watch! It is just as small as the F91W but I've heard that this is slightly thicker. Its small size does mean that on larger wrists, it'll look comically small. For myself, I have a wrist size around 6" and it fits perfect. However, compared to other watches I wear, this does look very small. The resin band is very comfortable but you may find that you may sit between extremely tight, and somewhat snug with enough play for it to move around. The watch being extremely lightweight at 21g enables the watch to effectively disappear on wrist especially because of it being so small in size. The display is very legible, contrary to what CASIO seems to be releasing with other watches as of late, and it remains legible in the most serious viewing angles. If you need to glance at your wrist without moving it on a desk, it'll be possible for you to easily read the time. As mentioned earlier, as it does have EL, low light or very dark legibility is superb and the numerals remain extremely clear. Unlike with the G-Shock Super Illuminator, the numerals stay bold and do not fade. The light is dispersed equally on the entire display meaning that there are no hotspots that you'd see on CASIO's LED illuminated watches. Functions are very basic and are arguably quite rudimentary when compared to other CASIO watches that do not come from the Vintage line. If you're used to something like a modern day G-Shock, Lineage, or other newer cheap CASIO watch, you'll find that the features are lacking but it still has the essentials such as the standard timekeeping mode (displays time), single alarm, and stopwatch with splits. Whether or not you've had experience with CASIO before, it's fairly intuitive to set and understand how to use. The top left being for the light or selecting a setting, the bottom left for changing modes, and the bottom right for start/stop or cycling through to set something. The basic functionality is printed on the faceplate to help you understand, otherwise, you can always find the very thin set of instructions (as there's not many features on the watch) on CASIO's website when you search the module number. Coming from the Lineage to G-Shock, I find that I had grown attracted to these classic watches that I had as a child, but as I didn't want to deal with the poor backlight which is also the charm of the F91W, I decided to find the better alternative. I saw the A168 and then discovered the F105W which may be discontinued in plenty of regions. I love the watch despite it not having much wrist time compared to my G-Shock, but it still brings a lot to the table as it doesn't just tell the time. It comes with extra little features that you'll end up using in a lightweight package that will disappear on your wrist. I'd say that it's more of a statement piece now and wearing it in your day-to-day even in more formal offices will be perfectly acceptable and you may catch some glances for standing out with a classic. Also, what arrived to me was the F105W-1ACR. I believe that this is the American region code and the watch was legit! If you have any question of legitimacy then there's forums to help. I was fairly confident that it was but I decided to consult forums before settling.
