TYMO Automatic Rotating Curling Iron, TYMO CURLPRO Beach Waves Hair Curler

I absolutely love this curling iron. It is SO easy to use, and I can curl my hair much faster with this than with a traditional curling iron. The automatic rotating feature does most of the work, so once you get the hang of it, styling is ridiculously simple. The curls come out smooth and consistent, and the best part is that they actually last. I can still see plenty of curl and movement in my hair the next day, which is a huge win for me. It heats up quickly, doesn’t take forever to do my whole head, and makes it much easier to get that polished curled look without spending a ton of time on my hair. I genuinely reach for this over my regular curling irons now. If you struggle with curling your own hair or just want something faster and easier, I highly recommend this one.

My teenage daughter absolutely loves this curling iron! It’s really easy for her to use and heats up quickly, which is perfect when she’s getting ready for school or going out with friends. It creates really pretty curls that hold well, and she likes that she can do her hair herself without it taking forever. The pink color is super cute too! It has quickly become one of her favorite hair tools and she reaches for it all the time. Definitely a great buy for a teen who loves styling her hair!

Ok, so recently I've been bombarded with ads for this thing. I tend to not believe ads but I was intrigued... My hair is thick and straight and doesn't take or hold a curl well. I've never been a girlie-girl so fussing with my hair or using a bunch of products to get my hair perfect is out of the question. I'm also getting older so my agility and coordination are not what they used to be. The automatic function of this curling tool is what got my attention - that and the enclosed barrel that won't burn my head or fingers. So I went to YouTube to see actual reviews by actual people not affiliated with or sponsored by TYMO. I watched probably 15-20 videos and finally decided to take the plunge. The day this arrived was day two after washing my hair. I didn't know if slightly oily hair would work but decided to give it a try anyway, and OH. MY. GOD!!!! I am SO HAPPY I bought this! It was relatively easy to use (remember - not a girlie-girl!) and the results were amazing! The hardest part was finding the groove in the mirror (remember - NOT coordinated!) but even while getting the hang of it I was able to touch every part of the wand and barrel without burning myself. The button that changes the rotation of the barrel is genius. It took me about 20-25 minutes to do my whole head of chest length hair. The curls lasted through that day even after a nap (remember - I'm old!), through sleeping on them that night, and were still wavy through the next day. I could've gotten at least another day out of them had I started with clean hair, but by day 4 I was feeling gross, even if my hair didn't look gross. The only con I've experienced so far after using this for about 2 weeks is that my bangs are too short and consist of mostly stick-straight coarse gray hairs that are extremely difficult to curl. I tend to end up with one large curl that wants to flop back into my face. If I was more adept at using product I could probably fix that. Right now I'm back combing and spraying to get them to stay in place. When they grow out a bit it shouldn't be a problem. All the videos I watched had women with long hair or all one length hair so I didn't see any that showed how to handle bangs. I'll have to go watch again... but in the meantime, the pros WAY outweigh that one minor con. I'm really happy with this purchase. It really DOES work like the ads say... amazingly. I haven't used any heat shield or other products to enhance or keep the curls and they stay just fine. I've since ordered heat shield just to protect my hair, so we'll see if that changes anything with the longevity of the curls. If you're on the fence - GET IT! With the Amazon free return policy you're not out anything if you don't like it.

It works so well for my hair type, I have wavy + straight hair and it worked well. My hair didn’t get tangled once, curls came out amazing. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants effortless curls in under 20 mins! No smell, temperature was perfect and didn’t damage hair! (Obviously use heat protectant, but without using it my hair still came out soft and smooth!)

I totally figured this was going to be another of the many hair appliances I buy but ends up in my closet graveyard. But, I actually like the Tymo rotator curling iron... to a point. After a short learning curve, it does make curls that I've been forever trying to figure out with a regular curling iron or flatiron. That said, I think it's best on longer hair. I have hair above my shoulders and some curls came out great, the others didn't, depending on the layers. The other thing is that I noticed the curls didn't last long. Maybe a hair product can help with that. Since I'm growing my hair out, I'll keep it and try to perfect my technique. What's a great feature is that you would really have a hard time burning yourself. You can put the tool right up to your head and its not warm. The curls do come out of it warm. My advice is to not touch the curls, especially when warm, and eventually only run your fingers through them. One side I used just my fingers and the other I brushed like I saw in an ad, and I think that eliminated a lot of the body of the curls.

Curl your hair with such ease! The quality is amazing and sturdy and just feels well built. It does have an auto shut-off after around 15 minutes with no use which for us millennials is amazing because how many times have you panicked thinking you left your straightener on? Haha! The heating speed is so fast from turning on to ready to curl is around 30 seconds to 1 minute! The color is so precious and girly! My hair type is short thinning hair and it made my hair look full and healthy! I 100% would recommend!

I’m terrible at curling my hair with the old-fashioned curling iron. This was my first attempt with this curler and it did my whole head in about 15 minutes. Super easy to use and perfect curls! I can’t even believe how perfect it turned out! I highly recommend this!

so I have curly wavy hair. Big tendency to frizz and knot. And I am NOT a hair person....I prefer wash and go but for the occasions I want to look more pulled together I decided to try this to have controlled curls that look intentional. so I washed blow dried and put in heat product. Whipped out this treasure turned it on and waited until it said go....first go was successful woo hoo, second one great. Wow I love the curls they are lovely...about mid way through the side of my head is where the issues began. I kept getting my hair stuck and I panicked so I was afraid I was going to pull my hair out because I was having issues with hitting the right button.....I wish I had thought to video it for comedic value alone. Tried it again a few days later much better success rate. Only pulled out a couple of hairs and I loved the result. By the third time I felt like a superstar. Whole head done, perfect curls that LASTED all day and night. Love it so much I did it again for my nieces Rehearsal dinner and touched it up for the actual wedding. My hair looked great. So yes I would recommend this curling iron. The only two things I wish were different. I believe I read somewhere that it would sense when your hair was stuck. If I did not read that than they should find a way to add that feature. If I did read it, the feature needs to be reevaluated. Second wish - the top of your head is dang near impossible to use this on so you have gorgeous curls on the mid to lower half of your head but no higher. I do not know the remedy for that at all. But that being said I did love the way my hair looked after using this and I will be using it again
