Duct Mate Tools,TDC/TDF/HVAC Ducting Clip Cleat Tool Hand Tools for Air Duct Clamp Wrench and other Ductwork

This little tool is a life saver pulling TDC or Duct mate connections together I've bought 5 so far getting ready to order another one so I can weld a extension on it for harder connections

Nice tool does exactly what's described. Very happy

It actually works very well and I was able to cut it down for a shorter handle and attach a piece of conduit to it to make it longer if needed. I was a little surprised how small it was but it actually comes in convenient when you can reach far enough because it’s capable of clipping with just a quarter of the metal on your clips/bang ons whatever your tin knocking crew wants to call it .Most of my crew will actually ask to use it over the ones made in our shop for certain scenarios like bowing TDF/TDC connections or spots we can’t see. Maybe if there was a magnet it’d be flawless? I want to give it 5 stars but I think they can make this one a tiny bit more functional with magnets and maybe a pinching tool?

This tool works great on sheet metal, it can grip and bed sheet metal joints easily and is safer than cutting you fingers on the sharp metal edges. The tool is thick and durable so it should last for years.

The duct mate is a grate tool to keep in your tool box for when you really need it .very well made sturdy .
