Waterproof, softly flexible and adhere without issue, allowing long-time wear without discomfort.
Silicone scar sheets have emerged as a popular solution for managing both old and new scars and the benefits promised by this Medical Silicone Scar Tape sounded good. One of the best features is that they are waterproof making them suitable for everyday use, including swimming or showering. These sheets adhered well to the skin, maintaining their grip and have stayed in place throughout day-to-day activity, washing up and sleeping. The tape is meant to be suitable for various types of scars, including those from surgeries however I have only used it on healed scars so far. I have found the tape to be soft and flexible, allowing long-time wear without causing discomfort. It can be a challenge removing the top protective layer of the strips, somewhat frustrating but once you have it it's done. Despite this issue, all other aspects are positive. Only time will tell how much of an impact they have on minimalising a scar but they so far have met the promises detailed.

Comfortable and sticks well
I won't be able to comment on scars disappearing, since I think it would take more than just 3-4 weeks for a really noticeable one to fade. That said, I've been pretty happy with this product for the week I have been using it: I got it for the purpose of protecting a strip of irritated skin due to my cat being, uhm, very happy kneading my flesh with all her might, and it has provided a welcome rest for my poor skin while still keeping the kitty happy and making biscuits. (I know, I know, that wasn't exactly the intended use for this product...)So, long story short, I've used a strip for 2-3 days, then 1 day without to let my skin breathe, then I put another strip on. This was on irritated skin with a few abrasions in the process of healing (no more bleeding, but I still have scabs), and this layer of protection is really good because without anything, my skin just keeps being irritated and won't fully heal. The product is comfortable to wear, very flexible, easy to put in place, adheres well, and it doesn't peel off as soon as you have a shower (haven't tried in a bath though). As said, I can't comment on its usefulness in making scars disappear, but at least the use I make of it is working.

Work well
I've been using the Medical Silicone Scar Tape for a while, and I'm really impressed by how gentle and effective it is.The medical-grade silicone is soft and non-irritating, making it perfect for sensitive skin, and I love how comfortable it feels when applied. It creates a moist healing environment that helps flatten and soften scars, speeding up recovery. The tape is waterproof and reusable, which makes it super convenient for daily use.Overall, it’s a great solution for both new and old scars, especially if you're looking for something easy and non-invasive. Highly recommend!

Very sticky but works very well.
I not comment on where this silicone scar tape will ‘make scars disappear’ as it claims as only time will tell on that one, and I suspect, a very long time! However, I can comment on our initial thoughts on using it.I rendered this for my son who has recently had surgery that has left him with two large and visible scars. Now that the wounds have healed, he wanted to use something that would continue to protect the scars whilst also making them less noticeable. This tape is extremely sticky and quite fiddly to cut and put into place when you initially start to use it. Once in place, in stays adhered to skin really well. My son can shower with it on and it doesn’t peel at all. He has reported no irritation. The tape also claims to be reusable but we haven’t attempted that. My son tends to wear it for 2 to 3 days, have a rest day then use a new piece. It is not the cheapest on the market but you do get a lot of tape on the roll and it appears to work very well. I will certainly be purchasing more of this when we run out.

Good Adhesion
I was intrigued by this as just had surgery and have a few small incision scars. The roll comes packaged wrapped in a small plastic bag then a box. A small piece of the tape is used on the roll end to stop the roll unwinding. Once this has been removed I found the roll easy to cut and pull off the backing sheet. The only niggle was that the bit I had cut kept trying to curl making it difficult to get it into position as I only hand one hand to hold the tape as the other was holding other body parts away from the scars so I could see them. Once I sorted this the tape stuck well, it is pliable and soft and I can only describe it as plastic skin and not unpleasant. The instructions specify to use this for small amounts of time at first building up to longer episodes, but I am not sure why. I would prefer to use this for a few days, then allow the skin to breath before going again. I am not really bothered about having scars, but I do want to help wounds heal once they are dry and clean. This fits the bill although it is quite an expensive product and you are probably wise to make sure you check what is the best value at the time of ordering. I have had no irritation with this product, but time will tell if it lives up to it’s bold promises. My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. I do not recommend buying it,2 Stars; Significant deficiencies, does not fulfil its expected functions,3 Stars; Average product. Complies with expectations,4 Stars; Very good and satisfying. I liked it and it's a quality product,5 Stars; Excellent, exceeds expectations.
