Parts 89017742 Intake Manifold Assembly

This intake manifold does work just fine, it is almost identical to the factory but didn't seem as good as the factory; however it does work just fine. It seems kind of cheaply made, some of the plastic doesn't line up like it should in some spots. It does come with the gaskets so you don't need to buy another set unless you choose to. I had a second set onhand incase these were damaged for any reason. They were not and everything went well. We had no problem installing this and everything went smooth. It did fit very nicely and we reassembled the rest of the items. When it was time to turn the key I paused for a couple of seconds to let the computer do it's thing and it started right up with no issues, ran smooth and overall it did increase performance a little bit as the one we removed was the original GM one and had 235,000 miles on it. It's been on for about 6,000 miles now (I waited to type this review for this reason) and I now have 241,000 and change, not sure of the exact mileage and no issues yet. I definitely recommend this product as opposed to the OEM one that costs much more.
