Does what it says

Firstly, the price listed here cannot be correct. I've seen the same stuff in various other places for between eight and eleven quid not the eye watering list price here. Fortunately this was a review item so I will do so based upon the price elsewhere found not the OTT one on this page. As a sealant it works well - just like any other to be honest. The good bit being that when used in transitions through fire walls it will expand to seal off any gaps if put under heat. I would imagine that if you were super careful you could even used this as a sealant on a door. It feeds out easily and smoothly - although to fess up I use a Ryobi battery caulking gun which allows much better control than the hand operated ones. Overall at a sensible price this is a good product. At the list price here you would need your head examining to buy it.

Amazing product which could save your life. Not the cheapest product on the market but worth every penny in the case of fire. Its easy to apply using a regular sealant gun and is great for beading and sealing around door and windows as in the event of fire it swells to 1.5x its original size thus blocking out oxygen from entering and smoke and fire exiting. I've used this around pipes and cables which breach a firewall in my new extension and I hope I never have to test its effectiveness. Excellent product

I used this with a sealant gun. It’s a grey colour and I used it to seal some fire glass into a door which needed to be fire safe. This sealant is perfect for when exposed to heat as it expands to 3x it’s size therefore stopping any smoke coming through. I am however shocked by the price and do not think it’s worth the almost £80 price tag as I’m pretty sure you can get far far cheaper equivalents.

This Everbuild fire sealant is a high quality,made professionally, easy to use,dries quickly.Just remember that the fire sealant have to be applied only on clean areas to get the best result in case of fire.I read that this product can stop fire for 5 hours and it is great,but also I found information that it reduce noise ,so filled all holes around pipes and cables at home,to prevent noise from neighbours.
