I recently purchased the 2024 Upgrade Underwater Fishing Camera, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The camera and viewing monitor are well packaged in a compact carrying case. All components are easy to assemble and fit well together. The menu is intuitive and easy to navigate. Viewing in bright surroundings is as one expect, very sharp and clear. Viewing in a dark surrounding is impressively also sharp and clear with either LED lights or with IR lights activated. My overall initial impression is that the product is engineered and manufactured with quality and care. I am a kayak fisherman and look forward to seeing how well the product performs on the water. I am particularly interested in learning how to keep the camera stable while in a constantly moving environment.

This has a great picture on screen. I fished in pretty cloudy water and still able to see fish on screen good. Easy to use. I have used quite a bit and the battery life hasn't changed much.Con-I wish the case was hard sided instead of fabric on outside.

FishPro MOQCQGR underwater camera is a very nice product for the price. I’m giving it 4 stars, but it could be improved to a 5 star product with a few simple design improvements.Positives:1. Nice bright display. Images are very clear. It’s not a touchscreen and the selection menu is a bit cryptic, but not too bad after you learn the menu structure. Good enough for the price.2. Cable spool packs up compactly.3. Lithium battery provides plenty of runtime.4. Start-up time is quick!5. LED and IR lights are on the camera. Would be helpful if there was a display indicator for the light mode.Negatives:1. I worry about damage from water intrusion. There is no mention of being water resistant. Instructions say “Do not expose the monitor to rain and avoid storing the unit in damp areas.” Huh? … this electronic device, designed for use directly over a lake ice hole, should be designed per IP67 standards: “temporary submersion in water up to 1meter for up to 30 minutes.”2. Display is not a touchscreen and the selection menu is a bit cryptic, but not too bad after you learn the menu structure. Good enough for the price.3. Nice portable carrying case. Unfortunately, it has separate recesses for the camera and the Camera Adjust Fins. It would be much better if I could fit the camera + adjust fins inside without disassembling them. What were they thinking? It will always be used with these items assembled together.4. There is no video output. Only AVI or JPF files on a microSD card. Live video output for connection to a TV or large display would be nice.5. Delivery time is long and misleading. When I purchased on 2/5, delivery was estimated 2/17-2/25. Tripod didn’t arrive until 2/25, camera on 2/26. Unfortunately, ice-fishing season in MN ended on 2/23!6. Warranty is only 1 year, per the included manual. It’ll be 11 months until I’m able to next use this tripod and camera. I’d return it and repurchase next year, but stupid unpredictable tariff policies might make this product unavailable or much more expensive.Interestingly, there was a card included that mentioned a 2 year warranty. I sent an email with message “Please activate the 2 years warranty” and “Order No.” to [email protected]. Hopefully I’ll never need to find out how long it’s actually warrantied for.7. Software version is 1.00 and there are no instructions available for updating if necessary.

Great picture quality. Used this camera at a lake my son-in-law frequently fishes, and he said the lake would be too dark to see anything on the camera. Picture was clear and bright, excellent quality. Son-in-law was surprised and impressed. If the picture is that good in a muddy lake, I expect it will be great in my usual fishing holes. I'm happy to great picture quality for a reasonable price.

Love the quality and value of this unit. I am impressed with everything about this setup. I really hope it gives me many years of service. The display quality, functionality, and ease of installation are great.

Although I have yet to put this in the water it appears very easy to use. I like the compact light weight case and big screen and small camera with a thin cord. I did try the camera and 3 different settings for illumination in the dark, I give it a thumbs up. Unique feature, able to rotate picture at the push of a button.

I bought this for my daughter to use ice fishing, as I already own a more expensive brand. I couldn’t believe how much better the FishPro was compared to the more expensive one. It out performs on every level. Low light visibility was much better. Clarity was better. Battery life is great. My expensive camera died after a couple hours but the FishPro keeps going. I think I’m going to buy another one. I highly recommend
