I have be impatiently patiently waiting for this to hit my Kindle because I just needed a Sovereign Mountain Ranch man in my life.Westin River Quinn, love of my life, I was so pleasantly surprised how sweet he was. To experience a man of little words express and show his love for Diane just swept me up off my feet. After reading Sovereign I was looking forward to Westin's story and I was not disappointed. The spice was intense! As always Raya delivered.

WHEW - dark romance and add the possessive gunslinging cowboy. Yes please. Raya tells amazing stories and this one is no different. Westin is obsessed with Diane after seeing her just one time. Diane, man this chick has been through the ringer. I feel like her trauma opens doors for tons of people who have found themselves in toxic families. This story is about so much more than romance. Abuse, in many forms. Survival. The romance is phenom. Extra curriculars hit on the highest level...IKYKY. Sovereign Mountain and its stories just keep you coming back for more!🐴Dark cowboy🐴Touch her and see what happens🐴Unhinged MMC🐴Age gap🐴Revenge

The way I need more of these Sovereign Mountain men!!! I swear if more cowboy romances were written this way, I’d have moved to a ranch years ago!!! Raya has created such amazing men who are easy to fall in love with!! Westin has me panting over his mouth and actions when it came to Diane!!

too much of the same story. not the novelty. seemed like a watered down version. Had really high hopes. Still a solid read, but needed more variance. And the draw between the characters wasn’t as good.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I’m not sure how she did it but Wesin is BETTER(???) than Sovereign and I LOVED Sovereign! I don’t think it hurt that we were introduced to Westin in the first book of the series so he already had my heart.Dark romance, cowboys, rural Montana, innocent FMC, 🐝DSM leaning MMC (not as heavy as Sovereign), Dom/sub relationship, mystery, intrigue, love, trauma healing, banter, he falls first and hard but she isn’t far behind, building trust. Not as spicy as Soverign in my opinion (2.5 chili peppers for me). It has all the things 😍Westin loves Diane something fierce and will do anything to protect her (anything….) and regrets not sticking to his namesake earlier and saving her some trauma. Diane is a little spitfire and it comes out at the best of times and she fights back against the people who oppress her in subtle ways until Westin takes on that duty. HEA and there is a novella with an extended epilogue!!And dare I say….i think we meet the MMC in the THIRD book in Westin? Color me intrigued but I’m already chomping at the proverbial ball gag for his book!! Church girl and a hard, rough and tumble cowboy with a soft spot for his future lady? Raya Morris Edwards you have me as a reader for life 😍😍 (P.S. thank you SO SO SO much for the opportunity to ARC read Westin and hopefully the future books ❤️🤞).

I knew after reading Sovereign, Westin Quinn was going to be a special story. I could never have anticipated the journey this book would’ve taken me on in the very best way.In Sovereign, its apparent that Diane and Westin have history. Its never expanded on but you know its deep and dark and emotional. Starting off at the very beginning of Westin and Diane’s tumultuous story in this book we get to see how the two met and how their relationship blossomed. Knowing what happens in the first book- my anxiety was at an all time high knowing that the train had left the station and would be crashing soon. Did that make it hurt any less? NOPE. My eyes were SWEATINGGGG.Diane has been through so much in her short life. Everyone who has ever loved her or been responsible for her in some way has let her down- until Westin. Not only does this man (eventually) keep all his promises to her. But he makes her the center of his whole world after just one meeting. Insta love? Nah, this was serendipity. Kismet. Fate. I absolutely adored both of these characters and their troubled back stories and how they found their way back to each other each and every time.The spice in this book? Unmatched. Spicier than Sovereign? Didn’t this it was possible but yes. And the love? Oh, it was so sweet. I really thought Westin was going to be a broodier version of Sovereign but the love this man had for his woman was unmatched. It was an absolutely beautiful love story that I found myself wanting to slow down and savor so it wouldn’t end so soon. I lost myself while reading this and completely binged it. I couldn’t slow down or stop if I tried.4.5 StarsI’m sorry Sovereign- I really really am. But Westin has my heart now. That being said….if book three is about who I think it is. I’m scared….

This dark gritty cowboy romance was a wild and spicy ride! I loved every second!At the start of the book, Diane is living on her family ranch with her brother. Since her grandmother passed away, her life has been full of cooking and cleaning while living under her cruel brother’s oppressive rule since her grandmother passed. Westin works on a neighboring and much larger ranch with Sovereign (from the first book in the series). He is instantly drawn to Diane and the two begin a secret romance.Westin is an absolute force. He isn’t going to let anyone or anything get in the way of what he wants, and he will use any means necessary to get it. He was so broken though, and at times felt like he didn’t deserve Diane. After all the trauma that Diane endured, Westin treated her with a protective gentleness that was very endearing. Besides in the bedroom. Westin wants a 24 hour power dynamic with Diane, which ends up being super healing for her and super hot for us to read.Westin is the second book in the Sovereign Mountain series. You don’t need to read Sovereign (book one) to enjoy this book, but characters from Sovereign appear and events sometimes overlap. It would be a better reading experience to read the books in order.Westin has a friend named Deacon who helps him in this book and I’d love to see the author give him a story one day!

This is the 2nd book in the Sovereign Mountain Series.I loved the 1st book and addictional novella Redbird. I had high hopes for this book and it didn’t disappoint. You are introduced to both Westin and Diane in this book, so you should read them first.I personally don't think Westin is dark as Sovereign that being said Westin is still a morally grey, obsessive cowboy who won't let nothing stand in his way of getting what he wants. I think he might even be one of my favourite cowboys now!I really hope we get Jenson and Deacon book in this series.As always check your triggers before starting.

Another amazing installment in the Sovereign Mountain series. I am just loving these cowboys! I'm a sucker for opposites attract, and Westin and Diane are opposites in the best way. Diane is an underdog fmc. She was living with her abusive brother until she was forced to marry Thomas, her one bright spot being, of course, Westin. Westin is rough, where Diane is soft. He is used to being the one who solves problems and makes way for the ranch and those that rely on him. Their story is full of lots of ups and downs and a few turns. I definitely recommend reading book 1, Sovereign, first as there are some spoilers for it in this book. A fantastic read, I can't wait to see what's next.This book is HOT! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

This book was great and I throughly enjoyed it. Westin was EVERYTHING! I loved every single thing about him. He was absolutely amazing. While this is insta love everything about it felt right and usually I can’t stand insta love. This was perfect. Diane was absolutely incredible too. Her strength and softness was beautiful. She went through so much and Westin was there to hold her up at each turn. She fought her own battles and then let him fight the rest. I loved it. Can’t wait to read the extended epilogue! I would deffo recommend this book

What a book, didn't think much could top Gerard Sovereign but this book came to top tier it!! Raya Morris Edwards I cannot wait to see what you write next 🥵🌶️🔥
