Universal Toshiba TV Remote Replacement, Remote Control for All Toshiba TVs LCD LED Smart and 4K TVs

My expectations were not high - other "universal" remotes bought in the past have been mediocre at best. This one was EXACTLY what I needed for my dad, and one of the best values I've found. Super simple to set up and easy for elderly hands and eyes to use. At 97, dad is able to manage the TV remote again! I highly recommend this device. A couple quick notes: 1) Other similar remotes did not have channel buttons (0-9) which are necessary unless your TV only gets a few channels 2) Batteries are not provided, so have a couple on hand.

Nice for elderly parents to use. Buttons are big enough and don't require quick movements to complete channel selection. Easy to pair with smart TV but simple enough for channel selection.

I have a cheap TLC 65" with a remote control sucks and too sensitive... got this remote to replace it and none of the codes worked so I had to use the automatic find. It took many times but I think it Cycles the numbers and I learned to let it turn the TV off cycle through another 10 and it turn the TV on and then cycle again to turn the TV off. I then manually turn the TV on and use the volume button and it finally started working. All other attempts before would simply turn the TV off and only work for the channels but not the menu buttons. Basically had to go to three Cycles to pass some of the blocks of numbers that I originally thought would work but didn't. Overall is simply just does not continue to make progress. So keep trying to push on through until you find a batch of numbers that finally work. Keep in mind that many will only partially work. I almost decided to return the remote until I try the last third cycle because I had no clue where I was at

Functional but not very well made easy to program update the remote now isn’t working at all

Connected to an 15 year old Toshiba tv and works great no programing required

It was what I was looking for and price was right.

It gets a one because I can’t go any lower and it had pretty blue lights. Besides that, it learned the TV but not the box which for some is the only way they get TV. Must’ve tried 10 times to have it learn from the other remote, no go. UPDATE: seller very nice and reached out to see what type of cable box I had. It’s some weird brand that only the cable company has and just won’t work with it, but I really appreciated their efforts and for that I gotta bump up the rating.
