Like all quality leather products it requires a breaking in period. The tension screws make sure that you get a custom fit. I would recommend a drop of loctite on the threads of both tension screws for piece of mind. Good fit and well made mag pouch. Matches my 1791 holster for my Glock 19, Gen 5 perfectly in color and finish. Great product, well designed from good heavy leather. Excellent value as well, compared to other brands. Very satisfied.

I have to stay I did not expect to be so impressed off that bat. From the moment I opened the package, to handling the Mag Holster, any apprehension I had for spending money on this item drifted away. The craftsmanship can not be topped and for the price, I honestly consider this price a steal given the leather quality, strength, and sturdiness. The Classic Brown is a beautiful color, I am biased as this is my favorite leather tone. 1791 Logo is so cool, I wish it was in the front, haha. That well placed and of course I hope everyone understands the significance of 12.15.1791 My only worry at this moment which I will update as I only had this for a day, however was so impressed by 1791 decided to write this review before I forgot. I had to cover my Glock 19 Gen 5 Mags with wax paper as man that sucker was tight. I'm expecting a break in period obviously. However hard to pull out at the moment. *UpDate 2.25.2018* - Used Ziplock bags by placing the 15 round mags ( Gen 5) inside bag and wrapping twice over. Inserted in pouches with some solid pressure. Left overnight about 12 hours. Break in is going over smoothly. So happy with this purchase.

Very well made. The tension adjustments work. Actual leather. Stiff at first. Be aware there will be a break-in period.

When it first arrived , i could tell it was quality leather and very well made. however, at first glace it looked a little bulky. When you put it on you realize that its not bulky at all, it really sits very snug against the body and concealed very well. The screw adjustment is outstanding and you get the ideal retention on your magazine . The comfort of leather is second to none. kydex is ok , but doesn't come close to leather.

This double mag holder may have been designed for 9mm double stack mags. I'm not sure this mag holder was designed for Glock G41 doublestack 45 ACP magazines. I had a very hard time getting the mags in and completely seated. I worked and worked on the break-in. It was just too tight and not functionally usable. I ended up soaking the holder in warm water for an hour, then covered my mags in plastic and worked and twisted them in and out. After getting the mags seated and snug but not too tight. I hung the mag holder on a belt and let me dry. The next day I tested seating and retention. It was muck better. I let the holder dry for another day and I'd was ready for use. I found that it fits comfortably, and conformed to the curve of my body. After breaking it in, I really like it. It's well made with good thickness. Should last for years. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the extra steps required to fit my mags.

Great product. The leather is a little thicker than I was expecting it to be, but that just means it’s gonna be durable I like it.

Long overdue review. Everything about the mag pouch is spot on. Would like to have found a Basketweave but good mag pouch. Ideas below all qualify.

I picked this particular double-mag holster because it matches my 1791 OWB Open Top Holster in the "Stealth" finish which I have been wearing for over three years. I am absolutely sold on the quality of 1791 Gun Leather in general and this mag holster just reinforces that. The fit and finish are top quality. The edges are beautifully rounded and sealed. The stitching is flawless. Stress points are double stitched as they should be. To easily and quickly break-in quality leather for a custom fit, I wrapped two magazines in zip lock plastic material, shoved them in as far in as possible and let them sit for a couple days. This is the same procedure I used to a perfect fit for my Gen 5 Glock 19 MOS holster. Properly broken-in, the magazines are held securely yet allow a reliable quick drawn when needed. To treat and protect the leather I apply a couple coats of Obenaufs Heavy Duty Bees Wax every couple of years to all my leather holsters, including knife sheafs.

I use it with my P320 mags. It could be a bit tighter but they have not fallen out yet.
