Not strong enough for my preference, the highest speed is pretty weak. I will use it for travel only due to its compact size, not suitable for everyday use; at last for my liking.

Bought for my daughter after getting braces. Cleans teeth very well. She uses it daily. She loves the carrying satchel

Obviously a well-intended design: the exterior is highly styled; the tightly-integrated parts inside are cleverly designed and nicely-molded, but unfortunately, after a very short time of operation (~ 25 days of maybe 2 minutes total run-time per day), the gear teeth on the bull-gear (the big plastic face-gear that carries the pump eccentric) began to strip under load, rendering the pump inoperative. The underlying problem was out-of-plane flexure or tilt of the bull gear away from the brass motor drive-pinion, which left the plastic teeth just barely in engagement with the pinion, and thus liable to be stripped. I was able to restore function by taking the pump apart and putting a thin, large-diameter spacer-washer behind the big gear to support it against tilt or flexure, thus keeping the teeth fully engaged. This worked, but the mod is obviously nothing that a casual, non-technical buyer of a consumer product could be expected to do, and at this point, the life expectancy of the mod is unknown.My other complaint is that, based on my experience with other small water-using appliances, a thorough cleaning of the water reservoir will eventually be needed. Lack of ready access to the interior surfaces of the reservoir means that this will be difficult to do.Too bad: the Chinese manufacturer went to a lot of trouble to create an elegant product, only to have it fail most ignominiously for something that should have been caught early in development by careful life-testing of prototypes, He also sold it without considering how its interior was to be cleaned. The manufacturer should have paid more attention to the famous precepts W. Edwards Deming introduced to Japanese industry after WWII.

Love this thing! I floss my teeth, then use this water flosser and it helps clean out the little things that got missed. My teeth/gums feel so healthy and clean after using!

First experience with a water flosser (recommended by dental hygienist). Purchased in May 2018. A couple weeks or so after I got it, it started just turning on by itself. I'd be in another part of the house, or in bed sleeping and it would just turn on. I found it didn't happen as often by keeping it constantly plugged in (although it did still just turn on by itself). Then, it got to where (when it would randomly turn on by itself), it wouldn't turn off. I'd have to hit the on/off button numerous times and/or unplug it/plug it back in numerous times to get it to turn off. Finally last night, I was woken again (out of a dead sleep) to hear the damn thing cranking away. It would not turn off....I wanted to take a hammer to the damn thing, but my husband took it out to the garage and as he put it "exorcized the demon". He forced open the bottom and pulled the wires off the battery.Decided it was time to buy a brand name - bought a Water Pik (few more bucks than this one) - hopefully, it won't be possessed too!

Great travel and home item.

I had this for 3 months and it stopped turning on and off properly. It was fine when it worked but now it's defective.

It quit working after 2 uses. I have contacted seller for a replacement. I will keep you posted.
