Is it possible to give 4.5 stars? I have it installed on a 2015 Rubicon 4 door. This is easy to install. It fits very well. It is well built and perfect for the center of the dash. The price is reasonable for the quality. It even comes with an F wrench to tighten the clamp around the ball. Unfortunately, it doesn't completely serve my purpose. It handles an iPhone pro with an Otter box cover without a problem. The GoPro mount is exactly as it should be. But I also have a Garmin 66i GPS. The phone mount is both too wide and the arms are too short to hold the GPS. It has a belt clip but there is no straight bar mount available where I can clip the mount. It is critical to my off-roading that the GPS is on this dash mount system. I'll be trying to create something that leverages the GoPro mount and a flat piece of metal for the belt clip. A narrower but longer arm phone type mount would be ideal but that would be complex to 3D print. I wish there was simply a specialty mount option that I could have purchased. That doesn't take anything away from this product. My needs are simply more than the product offers.

Ok, so I am writing this review unsolicited because I was very impressed with this WXRYLYN item. I bought the version for my Jeep JK Wrangler. I made much effort to review every option available before buying this mounting system, and now that I have it, I am very happy with my choice. There are several key points that made me want to write this review. First was the quality. I didn’t pay any attention to where this item was made, but it’s a very clean design and all components are very well made and well packaged. second was cost. I bought the version that came with a single mount arm with a magnetic phone holder, and I don’t think there was any other option that was a better deal. I also separately purchased a ball and arm mount for a GoPro and the total investment was still less than some of the others for a single phone mount. Third was the base ball mount design. The WXRYLYN design allows you to easily add, adjust, and remove mounting balls in the channels on the plate without having to first remove the plate. This is shown in the Amazon images and I didn’t see any others designed this way. Fourth was mounting options for the bracket that holds the plate. This is not something that is shown in the images on Amazon, but this kit comes with all the hardware and tools that you could possibly need to mount this bracket to your vehicle. The hardware pack included a trim tool (for removing trim pieces without damaging them), F wrench (for tightening the mount arms), phillips screw driver, wrench, drill bits, and screws for screwing the bracket straight into the plastic, as well as bolts and lock nuts for those who prefer that method. My only recommendation for the manufacturer of this mount is to also include one “1” extra of the specialty screws used to mount the plate to the bracket in case one is lost or misplaced during installation. For the Jeep JK, I do recommend removing the dash panel for installation even if you choose to mount the bracket using the screws. This is an easy install for most, and the only other tools you will need is a 7mm socket, short extension, and socket wrench. Also, if your radio head unit has been replaced with an aftermarket unit, you may need to use the bolts from the bottom up due to clearance being reduced. I personally chose to mount the bracket using the screws. I hope you found this review helpful. Have fun and enjoy.

Super add on for a JK Wrangler. Installation was fairly easy. Very sturdy.
