Improves the game immersion
Another great Razer product. It definitely improves the game immersion.

Horrible software
This is a trash product. It’s nice when it works, but it randomly fails to do so. I’ve had to unplug the USB and restart synapse several times because it stops working, which has been roughly 30% of the times I’ve used it. Now, it will not work no matter what I do. I paid $300 for a seat cushion basically. Even when it does work, it’s probably still not worth it. I use this for my sim racing rig alongside Simhub. I only got this because I live in an apartment and don’t want to piss off my neighbors by using bass shakers. If noise isn’t an issue, just get a bass shaker

Not a fan
This was supposed to be used solely for sim racing. I'm coming from a next level racing HF8 but wanted to try a pad with transducers instead of motors. When it worked it was fine but even then it felt more like an even buy rather than an upgrade to the HF8. The main issue is it would almost never work. It would work for a couple minutes and then turn off. I tried all the different settings and modes and it was just horribly unreliable. When you have an expensive sim rig with a bunch of fancy parts, the last thing you want or need is another headache you constantly have to tinker with, and that is exactly what this is. I should have known a razer product would be a headache considering razer's software has always been unbearable. The HF8 is reliable and plug and play after the initial set up. NLR now has the HF8 pro which is the same price as this so I would do my research on that.

Great feedback - needs more native game support
I'm only using the Freyja in my sim racing rig. Fits perfect in my Playseat cockpit. The rumble and feedback works well enough in the audio mode, but native support for more racing games like Automobilista 2 (released), Assetto Corsa EVO (releasing Jan 2025), would be a blessing. I found the seat and specifically the fabric to be comfortable and breathable. Was worried about additional heat, but in my case, it was negligible and didn't affect the experience. One of the Razer devs for this product was kind enough to reply to me on Reddit and said that simracing native support is a focus for them. Real game changer IMO as it brings everything to life. Even more so coupled with VR.

Luxury item, niche uses.
It’s a luxury item for sure. It does require some finagling in the app to actually link it to audio outputs that work with the product, but when it works, it’s pretty neat. Not everything is going to be immersive, but most modern games seem to work quite well. Definitely not for the casual gamer, and an extra worry for those with young kids, as you don’t want to get this wet.

Its Good
Its good. Really good. Not using it with any of the supported games, but still get an immersive game play with non supported games.

Better than alternatives. Still not great, overpriced.
3.5/5. Unit has a tendency to disconnect/synapse crashes at random, but not super frequently. The biggest two issues I have are that the power button shouldn't have been placed on the surface where sitting down or moving can turn it off. Why they didn't have a wired remote or even power on in synapse only, I can't say. Update: The unit randomly now decides to not power on.

It's okay. Beta product.
The green Razer logo cannot be turned off and gets hot to the touch, which you will be touching with your back as long as you're sitting in your chair. The seat itself has decent comfortability, but you will notice a serious decline if you are coming from a higher quality ergonomic chair. Due to the thickness, the Freyja elevates you higher in the seat and more forward, so some chairs may have awkwardly placed armrests. This can be a major problem depending on their movement limitations. Breathability is so-so. If you live in warmer climates, you may experience some low to medium butt-sweatage. If you are a larger person greater than 6 feet and/or 200+ lbs, you may find the seat uncomfortable fairly quickly. The height of the back can also be problematic and dig into your back if you are taller. I feel like I am at the end of the 'okay' spectrum at 6ft 180lbs. The haptic effects are fantastic for race/space/flight sims, but are very underwhelming in other titles using the audio-based haptics mode. I had much better and more engaging results with other haptic products on the market. Also the thickness of the product does not always play nicely with racing sim cockpits. The device should have an automatic on and off feature from audio signal. When muting audio, the device will switch to another audio source causing the device to become an unwanted speaker. If you modify sound device settings like disabling/enabling audio enhancements, it can cause the Freyja to stop functioning entirely until you select another device and then re-select your original source. Noble attempt for a v1 product, but it’s still in beta which is not reflected by the price. If you're using this for sims, it could be a nice purchase on sale if your seat depth allows for the extra padding.
