For the product this is a great price a good product to have.

This works well for us

Flimsy. Would be good for short people who can't reach over the trash can and push it down. If you are like me and give it some of the people's elbow, you will not have better results using this.

In between trash pickup the trash needs to be compacted. This does the job

This is too small to be helpful in the large landscaping or recycling bins. Even extended, it only compresses towards the back of the bin. It is not wide enough to reach the sides. You still need to find something else to compress the rest of the bin, or jump in and smush it down, so it isn't worth the hassle to hood it up. I would recommend it only if you have the small bins.

I like this quite a bit. However, I am very aware of the bend and break point in the handle. You have to be careful not to put too much pressure on it. It absolutely compacts our trash...by maybe 20-25%. So with a full can I can compact and throw in a couple extra bags. Which is exactly what I wanted.

Bad quality and useless

I'm using this awesome manual trash compactor for my personal use when racking and collecting my yard leafs for the season. The trash compactor is made from a strong and durable material. It is lightweight and easy to use. I feel that the price is reasonable for the product I received and compared to others on the market. I do wish that it came with strong straps. I would recommend for its unique design and durable build material.
