Quality product, heavy duty shower head holder - FANTASTIC - 100 stars
Bought the Metal Handheld Shower Head Holder in Chrome finish. Wow, this is excellent quality and will no doubt last. If you are tired of those flimsy plastic chrome coated shower parts and need to replace with something better, then you have found the right company and part. Solid, heavy-duty metal. It swivels, it shines, its durable, easy to install. Bought the holder several months back and finally got around to installing it. I dreaded taking the shower assembly apart, but I was more annoyed by the leak in the old existing plastic one and found it in a box set to the side, so I went ahead and finally installed it. The box contained the holder, Teflon tape and basic instruction page with warranty info. The holder was nicely wrapped in a soft clothlike bag to protect from scratches. Use rubber strap wrench to uninstall old plastic part. Detach hose and handheld shower from old part. Put Teflon tape on all external metal threads. Nice included Teflon tape so did not have to hunt some down. Screw the one end onto the shower arm filter on wall side, screw the metal ended hose to other end of holder with handheld shower head attached. Ensure you have the hose the right way as sometimes one coupler end is longer to fit in the holder. All back together. Check the hose fits into the holder. Hand snug together then tighten with soft strap wrench. Do not use metal wrenches or you will more than likely scratch up the finish. Turn on water and test, no leaks. Looks good and will definitely outlast the plastic.

Exceeded my expectations. Solid metal build quality and solved more issues than I expected
I basically never write reviews on Amazon but was so thrilled with this thing. Please ignore that the finishes don't match. Unfortunately my hardware is nickel and the existing showerhead I had was chrome. So I have a Hansgrohe Clubmaster hand shower and the swivel mount it came with cracked and failed because it was plastic. I called Hansgrohe and they sent me a new one but said that it would not be adjustable (newer design). That was disappointing but was fine for a while until I moved into a place where the shower arm came in much lower. I'd have to squat just to get my head under the water. I was looking into shower arm extensions, S shaped ones, all that stuff to solve this issue. But I said you know what I'm overdue to replace this hand shower holder and thankfully found this item. Not only did it give me back most the height I needed it also somehow allowed for way more water pressure to come through my showerhead. I guess I hadn't noticed that the new part in the other product had also included some restriction in it. I had already removed the restrictor in my hand shower head itself. I will say I totally buy into the ethos here of metal feeling like better quality, less disposable and throw away BS. The only reservation I have is that the shower head requires nothing more than a light touch to adjust the pitch. Hopefully that just means this is well designed, but I do worry when it's not quite so new if it will start to droop a bit on its own. Time will tell as I've only used it the once so far. That said if you think you need one of these just get it. I know sometimes it's easy to be cynical or jaded about a lot of imported internet direct stuff on Amazon where they have a bunch of fake reviews and you're worried about getting some piece of trash that ends up a chore to return. This was not that, and I applaud them for seeing an opportunity in the market and getting these made. Hopefully it stays durable for the long haul, but even still the price on this is super competitive with some of the plastic crap out there for sale.

Use this awesome shower head as a foundation for an excellent DIY setup!
What you're seeing in the picture is three separate components from three separate manufacturers that, when put together, makes for a BULLETPROOF handheld shower setup. We initially spent over $70 on a Delta In2uition shower head setup that was complete plastic garbage. It's a shame to pay that much for plastic junk. I returned it and went on a mission to build my own leakproof and durable setup. I started with the shower head holder, which in most kits is almost always plastic. Folks, this Hammerhead shower holder is THE holder you've been looking for if you want something durable that does not leak. It's hefty and made from solid brass/metal and is so easy to install. Grab yourself a roll of MegaTape thread seal tape, wrap your pipe a few times (I did three), and screw on the holder. With plastic kits it can be quite easy to cross thread the fitting, causing immediate leaks. This holder goes on super easy without cross threading, making a solid seal. I then made sure I bought a metal hose that too was durable. I combined it with a Sakaika 6 function shower head that had excellent reviews and boom, had a complete setup that didn't leak (the head even came with instructions on how to remove the flow regulator). It has awesome pressure and is stylish as well with it's brushed nickel finish. Do yourself a huge favor and build your own setup, starting with this shower head holder. You will not regret it. The price I paid for all the components (holder, hose, and head) was around the same price I paid for the Delta and far exceeds the junk they're trying to sell.

Wow this is a substantial item! The heft instantly screams "all metal!", no cheap plastic here. Great finish too, this item should outlive me!

Nowadays it's rare to find a quality product at a decent price and this is definitely one. Solid metal construction that was only a few dollars more than a previous plastic one, that I had purchased from a North American hardware store. It takes minutes to install and I'm sure it will last a long time. Absolutely a15 out of 10 rating!!!

This is a high-quality and sturdy solution to a shower hose holder that takes a beating through everyday use. This metal option is no longer available in Canada. Home Depot and even plumbing stores sell plastic pieces that break off and fall on someone's head, in my case, onto the top of her head. This metal one is built to last, worth 25 of the cheap plastic ones that Amazon also sells. There is no way the rotating ball will ever twist off the metal one. Now you know that a child could receive the plastic one breaking, allowing the shower wand and hose to fall on your child's head. Take this option; it's the best one and the best quality!

Just replaced my leaky plastic showerhead holder with this all-metal one from Hammerhead. I actually really like my old showerhead and the hose even if it is some cheapo one, so I only swapped out the holder/balljoint thingy. Technically it's just the white plastic gasket inside the balljoint that failed and caused a spray/leak, but I can't imagine I could find that specific part. Decided to spend the 30$ on the BIFL piece. So far, so good. I imagine it'll be good for a long time.
