I think this would be a great item for nursing students. It’s sturdy, keeps you organized and has critical values listed on the first page.

I haven't had a chance to try them or give them to a nurse to use. I do agree that the size of the reports are small, but it looks exactly like the images. I think for learning purposes, and space saving it would be good for nursing students.

Great for writing reports but the size is way too small. If you have to add more you run out of room quick, I would recommend the bigger one just like this.

Useful notebook for nurses to keep track of their patients for report. A much better nurse “brain” than the folded pieces of paper that I have used many times. You need a fine point pen because there’s a lot of information on each patient, and the print is small. Fits 2 patients to a page, front and back. Information is well organized and helps to keep your report organized too. This has more information than many nurses would need to give at report, but if you work in an ICU or acute care then you might appreciate the level of detail. If you leave off the patients name and DOB this is HIPAA compliant. Would also be helpful for medical / NP students or medical residents. The cover is colorful and the spiral binding is secure. Fits in a scrub pocket fairly well. Good value for a pack of 2; I gave one to a coworker and keep mine in my emergency bag, to keep notes on emergencies only, as I work in a setting where this is too much information for daily use.

I picked these up to eventually give to my cousin who is a nursing student. Now I am unfamiliar with the needs of this profession so I can only review based on what I think would be pros and cons of these booklets.These appear to be decent booklets possibly eliminating the need for the typical nurse notepad to jot down patient info. Their are multiple quick review cheat pages at the front and back with basic info that you can quickly flip to when needed to jog memory or for important nursing info. The other pages for clinical or work use are pretty small as each page shares two note pages which are perforated and can easily be torn out of the book. I think it may be difficult for some to read or write notes on as the print is pretty small as is the note area, but the info slots might help students remember the necessarily note requirements for patients. While the booklets have floppy covers, they are made of pretty thick card stock so are pretty hardy and should take a bit of abuse.At the present price of $25.95 + 5% off coupon, these seem a little on the higher end of fair market value for this style notebook. Overall, I think the info and concept might be handy, but with my eyes I'd personally want a larger print or note area. That however is just me. I'll update if my cousin has other views once I give them to him.

This came in really handy for my sister as she’s a nurse. Her husband is too. So having a set of two made a really helpful gift. The quality is really impressive! The size was that of a palm but also fit slim into a pocket. The pages can be taken out and shared really easily. Makes the information readily accessible. Definitely makes everything so much easier. It’s definitely a treasured item. Well worth it~

Gave this to one of my nursing students to try out.She appreciated the information and separate categories for notes.Agree with other reviewers that a fine point pen is needed!Anything that helps new nurses to get rolling are great gifts and I think the students or new nurses in your life would like this as a gift.
