Kijaro Rok-Back Apex Rocker Chair (Vik Black)

I usually love this brand, I have had 3 duel lock chairs by Kijaro and have been very happy with them. I have recommended them to family and friends who have purchased and enjoyed the brand like I do. This is my first negative experience with any of their products. This particular “rocking” chair is not worth the 65$ in my opinion. While it’s comfortable to sit in and has a nice carrying pouch for transport, as well as a built in handle in the chair itself, the locking mechanism on the back of the chair doesn’t stay locked in if you lean forward after leaning back, (it’s a rocker, so kinda a big deal) the lock pops up and the chair back begins to fold in. If you get it on perfectly level ground you can rock a little without it popping out of lock but it then squeaks quite a bit. I bought this one for my teen daughter we have had it about a week now with daily use at our local park and it’s frustrating her to no end. She really wanted a rocking style chair, but next time I’ll just get her the same one I have, kijaro duel locking chair for 40$, that I have found last about 2 years with regular daily use, and save myself the money and her the frustration. As a single mom, she is just gonna have to make this one work for this summer, I can’t afford to buy another chair. Hope this helps someone.

This chair was a huge disappointment. It does not "rock" in any discernible way. I could live with that, but it does not even function as a regular chair. The back support does not hold. If you lean back even a bit, it pops out of place and the chair folds up around you. Do not buy.

On the first camping trip the chair broke.

Back lock pops when you move in the chair. You have to stay in one position and not shift your weight or the back locking mechanism pops loose. I was really happy with this chair until that started happening.

I bought 2 of these chairs...only used casually for 1 year...the stitching ripped on both chairs. neither of us are on the large side...VERY DISAPPOINTING!
