My wife wanted these for her craft work and said they were very good She crochets and made some nice keyrings with them

Very poor quality. The manufacturing on these is absolutely terrible. Some of them are ok and some are unusable due to looking absolutely awful. Cheap rubbish unfortunately. Photos are not of the same item but multiple items delivered with similar faults.
