Excellent quality pen - even at twice the price !
All around nice pen, nice weight to it and very smooth bold ink flow. I bought it for my wife on a whim and she loves it.Honestly, it would still be a bargain at twice the price and refills are readily available !

Great pen all around
Sleek, clean writing. Really heavy, which feels great. Clicking mechanism is satisfying. It’s solid metal, so it isn’t the most comfortable after continuous writing but I know what I was sacrificing for a pen that looks and writes like this. I only wish there were more colors, like silver/chrome, gold, gun metal, or black even.

Beautiful and functional.
Heavyweight pen and the copper is spectacular. Writes beautifully and replacement refills seem to be available. At this price how can’t it be worthwhile.

Solid, Smooth Writing, and Appropriately Shiny.
This is an excellent pen. It has written smoothly everytime I have needed it too and does not smear easily. The Copper cladding (It is not solid copper) Gives the pen a nice weight and a beautiful appearance and is antimicrobial as an extra bonus.

MUST HAVE PEN
Much like a lot of people who are considering this pen, I have a lot of coworkers that like to steal pens. This one is so unique that it catches eyes from all over and is very obvious. I also love its weight. The sharpie Astros I’ve been in my go to pens forever and I’ve always purchased the gun medal ones For my own personal use because no one else uses them. I love the style of the writing and it’s just absolutely perfect for my type of work. Getting this pen is super useful because then I can always carry it with myself and use it as my dedicated pen. It’s also a good idea to get plenty of refills so that whenever you run out, you can just switch it out really quick. This is my only used pen and I’ve pretty much gotten rid of every other pen that I own just because this one is so good!

Bought as a gift, considered getting one (or keeping this one) for myself!
I bought this pen as a gift as I thought it looked quite nice and I know the recipient loves how the Sharpie gel pens write. Personally I think it's just a bit too shiny for me and I'm also not a fan of the grip (texture, feel, look, and it doesn't offer me that secure of a hold). However, when I first held the pen for a little bit and wrote with it I was surprised with the things that pleased me:1. The love the weight of it. It's more than twice the weight of a regular Sharpie S Gel pen. The copper version weighs around 28.56g, while the regular version is roughly 11.09g. It's obviously not heavy enough to be a burden or bother my bad wrist after a decent amount of writing, so that's great for me.2. Despite me not liking the feel of it when it comes to the grip, the smoothness and cold it attracts because of the material is very enjoyable to me. I often fidget with pens, as we most do, and it's nice to feel the cool, smooth body of the pen.3. I know this is more of the ink than the pen itself, but writing with it is very enjoyable. The combination of the first two pluses combined with the smooth writing of the gel ink leaves me really happy while writing - and you all know how important that is.One thing I like doing is modding pens - whether it's the refills for it or the actual pen itself. If I can make a pen better for me then I'm going to do it. While I had both pens out to weight them I realized I could swap out the grips - so I did just that (see pictures)! While the grip feels a lot better to me, the look does not. If I could only swap the rubber grip and not the tip it would be almost perfect! However, the tip is not screwed on so you'd have to keep the black rubber grip and the tip. I'd already be on the fence from going copper - black - copper. But shiny copper transitioning to black rubber and then plastic tip just isn't my thing. Also a **WARNING** - if you do try this I'd highly suggest you don't attach the rubber grip very tight. I screwed it on the all the way and it was stuck quite a bit and I spent quite a bit of time trying to unscrew it. So unless you REALLY like the way it looks and are willing to possibly struggle with opening it back up to replace the ink when needed, at least do so with caution.Overall this is a pretty great pen - something I totally was not expecting to be thinking. And although I really enjoy it for the most part I don't think I'll end up adding it to my growing collection of pens. My collection is way too big as it is, so I think I'll just continue getting some of these for gifts!

Great pen, any size s-gel refill cartridge fits.
The media could not be loaded. I truly enjoy using this pen. Even though it has a metal jacket over the plastic, it is not slick at all. The weight is just a slight bit more than the regular S-Gel pens. I have been a huge fan of the Sharpie S-Gel pens for a number of years now and I honestly prefer the .38 tips over the .7 or 1.0. After searching for a special pen for my new planner, I was more than elated to find this pen to say the least. I searched and searched for one that had a .38 tip but to no avail. I ordered this and when it came I realized the ink inside of it is the exact same as the pens I already use. I swapped the ink from my normal .38 pen to this new copper one and it was an exact fit. Sharpie was very wise in the design of their ink cartridges because no matter the tip size, the support from the pen body is the exact same and just necks down to the final size. The pen seems durable enough and I truly enjoy using it but as a different review stated, and I agree with, it just doesn't satisfy with the way it clicks. I'm not sure if there is a way to disassemble it and change the springs, aside from the one on the ink cartridge obviously, and make it click just a bit harder. The click is just kind of dull and weak... Other than that, I love this pen and I think you will too.
