This is an adorable way to teach your child about the full moon and its names for each moon. The illustrations are beautiful! Very well put together.

ordered 3 of them for gifts and then because I'm learning the computer ordering gameordered 3 more, BUT in light of my ordering 6 of them, found homes under the treefor 5 lucky little children to receive one for Christmas.....

Beautiful

This is a remarkably gorgeous children's book. This is a story book that will spark your child's sense of wonder, and educate them about some astronomy terms. I love a book that teaches something, that is rather practical. The concept of this book is rather fun. Every month has a moon. As you read the book, you take a journey across the year's calendar. You will learn the reason, or folklore behind each names, some cool facts about it also. My favorites were January's wolf moon, and the brilliant illustration that followed. Sap moon was a wonderful story of the time of the Vernal Equinox, and the story of winters arrival. Cold moon was a December moon winter is in full arrival. Although these are my favorite all of them will bring your child joy.The artwork in this children's book is incredible. I was blown away by the detail included in each page. There is so much for your child to look at, and take in. The artwork will spark their imagination and bring the entire story to life for them. Each Page has corner to corner illustrations and no detail is spared.

This is a beautiful book with short but nicely written details of each moon. Unfortunately however, I only realised in receiving it that it’s based on North American wildlife and uses different names for the moons to we do here in the UK. Only three moons had the same names that we use. Sadly, I had to return it.

Beautiful design and great quality printing but I find the words used in this book way too pompous for a small child to understand. Shame.

This is a beautiful book, illustrations are awesome.The cover sleeve was 8/10 condition when it arrived, but the book itself is in good shape

This is a beautiful book. A wonderful introduction to some of the traditional lore of the full moon. My son loves the moon and will love looking up the name of the full moon each month using this story.

Lovely addition to our library. We bring it out for each full moon to learn about the current moon
