So this gives the childs phone great protection, yes it has been dropped from a top bunk onto a hard floor. The case fits the Pixel 8a perfectly. The only downside to the case is that under heavy phone use the case seems to retain heat on the phone causing the phone to overheat.

The impact protection works very well. But! The rubber doesn't seal very well, especially the top half, and dust and grit will get in at the sides. The case is tight enough to grind the grit into the phone leaving lots of marks. You need to regularly remove the case to clean out the dirt.

Solid choise if you want to play extra safe

Bought this for my dad, he often drops his phone so this has been the perfect solution. I no longer have to worry about him damaging it.
