Edge Magic-Style Magnetic Keyboard Case for iPad Pro 13 M5/M4

I’ve tried several keyboard cases over the years, and this Typecase Keyboard Case for the Apple iPad Pro 13-inch (M5, 2025) is easily one of my favorites. The fit is precise, the keyboard feels responsive and comfortable for long writing sessions, and the trackpad works surprisingly well.What impressed me most is how sturdy and premium the case feels without making the iPad overly bulky. The multiple viewing angles are excellent for typing, reading, streaming, and even video calls. The backlit keyboard is a great touch, especially when working late at night. This keyboard works wonderfully with my new iPad Pro 13 inch. I love the fact that it has many colors to select from for the keyboard and the light can be dimmed.Battery life has been solid, connectivity has been smooth, and everything paired quickly with no issues. It really transforms the iPad into a laptop-style setup while still keeping the flexibility of a tablet. If you use your iPad for productivity, writing, meetings, or travel, this case is absolutely worth considering. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Works as described.I like all the features in the product description.I can sit the ipad on my lap and create digital content while the room is quiet and it is dark outside. While Claude AI is busy putting my many small pieces of prompts together, I can leave the iPad upright on the keyboard while I shower and get ready for the day. This keyboard-touchpad combo and iPad holder meets my needs almost perfectly.I deducted a star because the problem is when using Claude AI, I cannot scroll down to read the Artifact using the touchpad or page keys.I had to send the Artifact as a Note and read the Arrifact as a Note. This action wasted time and defeated the purpose of having a keyboard with a built-in mousepad. I would appreciate the design team correcting this design flaw because we are in a new technological age using new software tools.I use this item to read from my iPad. I sit it to the side when streaming video. I noticed that if I tilt the iPad a little too much, the entire setup tips over and often times the iPad falls off. There’s not enough weight on the keyboard to keep the bottom part stable.But wait! If I touch the iPad surface, I get a scrollbar and can scroll up and down. The reality is that I am spoiled. I’ve learned to use the touch pad on a laptop. I deducted a point.Because this keyboard is specific to this version of iPad, I’d like to see this statement about how to scroll in the product photos at the top of the Amazon page that says we may need to touch the screen to scroll. To be clear, I have not found a way to scroll when there is a screen inside a screen.I have just now figured out a key to using this keyboard.I didn't deduct another point, but I’ve learned: Don’t adjust the angle of the iPad by grabbing the bottom or the I pad will suddenly fall off and drop hard.The safe place to tilt is about 3 inches from the bottom.Would I purchase this product again? Now that I know how to use it, yes.Would I recommend this product to friends and family? Maybe. I think kids would adapt to the quirks faster and would love selecting colors of the keyboard. Perhaps I have a taller body and need the iPad to have a strong tilt without flipping over. For petite people and kids this product is a definite yes. It would make a thoughtful gift. Be sure you know exactly the size of the intended iPad. Happy shopping!

Really nice for my 13” iPad. Also have one for my 12.9” which after a few months is in great condition. Keyboard is very responsive when typing. Recommended product.

My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy, almost like carrying my MacBook pro around. Other than that, the key board is amazing as I love the backlighting color choices, the touchpad is very responsive. It doesn't take long to charge and I find that I get at least a week and a half of use before charging ( I use this everyday for long periods). It's like having a second laptop.

I think the range of motion could be a little better and the trackpad isn’t good. Would benefit a lot from an app that allows you to swap the scrolling directions. My brain always wants down to be down and up to be up. It’s the opposite on this keyboard for me and it sucks I can’t change it.

For the price, this a great deal. It is not a perfect replacement for the Magic Keyboard.The magnet isn’t as strong so iPad easily slips off if you’re not careful.The keyboard is Bluetooth so there’s a slight latency effect since it’s not hardwired like the Magic Keyboard.The keyboard base is slightly lighter weight which normally is a good thing however as a result the stability isn’t quite as good as the magic keyboard.On a positive note, the keyboard feel is superior to the Magic Keyboard with longer key travel.

Se ve como un magic keyboard pero tiene diferencias como los colores de la retroiluminación. Creo que le falta tener un indicador adecuado del estado de la batería... el que se pudiera cargar directamente a través del iPad... pero por el precio realmente es un excelente producto.

Have had this keyboard for about 2 years now and is still in amazing condition and holds a charge for over a month.

Works really well with iPad Pro 13”. The key spring could be a little softer.

Impressive piece of tech! If you're looking for something that will allow your iPad to approximate a laptop, this will do the trick. Biggest drawback is that it doubles the weight and thickness of the iPad, so it actually feels like a laptop, too.
