Halo Safety Ring Type: One Sided

I thought we were being ripped off when we were asked by my moms facility to buy this safety rail. However it has proved to be a blessing. My mom no longer struggles having to try and sit down between two bars. Because of the shape, we don’t have to worry so much about her falling on the sharp pieces ot getting poked. My mom also loved the various grab angles inside the circle which help her to get the perfect grip depending on if she is standing, sitting, getting up, laying down, etc. We are happy we spent the money. It was easy to install on her frame too.

The product looks hardy enough but the instructions were missing.I also discovered that I did not bring all of the necessary tools to install this ring since my mother is in a nursing home.Also, on a you tube video that I watched produced by the Comfort Company they say that the bed railing has to be removed from the bed. I am going to have to check with my mother's nursing home to check and see about this since they said we had to buy one of these if we got my mother a hospital bed.

Haven’t fallen out of bed for almost a week.

My Mom lives in an assisted living community and I needed to replace the rails on her hospital bed for safety reasons. The Halo Safety Ring was easy to install and Mom didn't realize the rails were even gone. The best price I found was on Amazon.

This was so helpful to my 91 year old mother to be able to get in and out of bed by herself.

We have the Medmart Full Electric Bed Set and we cannot get the Halo to allow the bed to lay flat. The moving portion of the bed comes into direct alignment with the main frame of the bed, so the bolts interfere with the bed laying down. We have no idea how to fix this.

This was used for my husband who is in assisted living, He used it for a short time and it broke and he fell out of bed. Metal snapped off and broke, I want a replacement as the state of Va requires this for safety. It wasn't safe for my husband. I am contacting Amazon for help with this.nh
