The solar panels are awesome. Fast charge with 400 watt when you use both panels.
The Jackery came fully charged. I brewed a pot of coffee which brought the charge to 94%. Coffee pots are power gobblers. I then ran our 34-inch TV for 2 days. Shut off overnight. I then powered a 3-way lamp for about 6 hours to bring the power to 10%. I was interested in the solar charging. Other reviews had some trouble with their panels, so I worried. I shouldn't have. I am very pleased with its charging and speed. I hooked up both panels. The display said it would take 6 hours to charge. The rate was 397 watts, up to 400. The panels have circle and dot to help with angle placement for maximum charging. I did have to realign to keep optimum charging. I believe it would have charge in 6 hours had it not turned partly cloudy. It was done at 8 hours. The portability will make it excellent for camping. But I did get this one because my smaller power units could not handle a coffee pot when a storm killed our power. I like the capacity of this big one. Even though it can charge a phone, this big hog will be used for more substantial energy needs. Its functions simple and easy. I now have 3 of varying capacity. The 290, 500 and 2000. I am ready for fun and mild inconvenience.

Good product, A+ customer service
First of all, it is hard to find companies that are responsive to customers questions or concerns and not everything is predictable so I appreciated the excellent and prompt customer service responses I received with Jackery. Their California location may be one reason for that. A couple of small ordering and delivery glitches were handled quickly to my satisfaction, and I received delivery about 10 days after placing order. The power station is excellent in its power capacity. It is not light weight, but at slightly under 40 pounds it is still significantly lighter than other brands with similar wattage that are 20 pounds heavier. It has a sturdy pull-up carrying handle, smooth, well designed case. I could use a couple more outlets on it, but it's adequate for my need. It is an adjunct to my gas powered generator that powers the essential areas of my house. Two rooms not covered by my emergency switching panel will be served indoors by this fume free power station which will take care of my internet mesh router during the day and a medical device at night.I waited to post a review until I tested everything and I can say everything worked perfectly out of the box. The power station charged up from 29% to 100% in about 1h 40m. I then drained it down to about 94% running my laptop and charging a few things and took it outside to test the solar panels. Because we were having a run of typical overcast NW days I waited for a partially sunny day to test. I then tested the panels on a day with partial sun, and even with that I immediately got around 30 watts of charging through clouds. A couple days later with full sun, I retested and got 200 watts of charging power, so good to go with that. Choices of AC or solar charging or both together for fastest result.I had read a couple of low reviews so I was cautious to make sure everything worked. I think the problems they had could be prevented by reading the manual and checking connections. The complaint about no adapter for included solar panels can be solved by checking the plug on the cable for the Jackery panels which can fit 2 types of receptacles by simply pulling it apart, in this case to use the straight section of the plug. Compatability with other brands should be checked whether they might be different. Also the cable that connects to the solar panels must be properly inserted or it will not work at all. It may look like it could work either way, but there is a tongue and groove fit that must match facing toward the front of the panel and pushed in all the way. The way I first connected looked good but did not work until I changed it. Then it worked immediately. I was not previously familiar with the Jackery brand, but overall, after this experience, I am very happy with this purchase and would do so again. And with the newer type LiFePO power cells, I expect many years of good usage.

Great to have in an emergency or for tailgating!
Let's start by saying what this is, and what it isn't. Its a high capacity, solar generator (read battery). It's not what I would consider a generator that runs on fuel. That said, I use this a lot. It's a great companion at tailgates to run things like speakers and crockpots. It's super portable and 100% quite - 0db when operating. It will run my 250 watt sound system and a couple of crockpots for 4 - 6 hours on a charge. When the power went out, it kept my refrigerator running for 9 hours and still had charge left when the power came back on.I also have a gasoline powered 10K watt generator I use for basic essentials in my house when the power goes out. The two are not the same, and shouldn't be compared. They each have a purpose and work well together.I'm very happy with my Jackery for the purposes I bought it for. I have subsequently purchased one for my parents and in-laws too.

Reliable power for when you need it most.
This thing was a life-saver after hurricane helene. We were able to power our starlink all day long, and keep our phones charged as well.We already had ~300W of solar panels, so we can charge it back up during the day as well.It has a ton of ports, it's light, it's sturdy and it hasn't failed us yet.It charges very quick when plugged into your home outlet as well.I wouldn't hesitate to rely on this product, and if you can catch it on sale it's a fantastic deal!
