It's all so much fun - love the character names!

If you know Captain Hudson from Emma Cruises, you'll know what these books are all about. We're reading the Surprise from the Sea one right now and loving that one, so this one will be just as good! These are definitely NOT designed to be a child's picture book (and they were never marketed that way!). My son is 11 and can read these fairly easily. Thanks Emma and Jerome!

his would be such a fun book for kids who like cats and the ocean and cruises! Kids in later elementary school would be able to read it on their own. Younger children would love to have it read to them. The story flows well and the illustrations are fun! It would be a great gift to a child getting ready for a cruise. I can't wait to see what adventure Captain Hudson goes on next!

I bought this book for myself - have no children to gift it to. But even as an adult, it's readable, enjoyable, packed with great information, and just...brilliant.

A very fun book, really well written. My inner child is captivated!!!! Highly recommend for anyone 8 and above!!

10 out of 5 stars! My son LOVES Captain Hudson’s adventures and journeys! It is a perfect read for him and is exactly what he hoped it would be! He asked us daily when it was coming! Emma does an amazing job of helping people of all ages enjoy travel and this is no different for youth!
