I love that this is battery operated- no cord to mess with. It is every bit as good as the Food Saver version, but at a great price. I bought this for the Vacuum not the bags. The bags are eh-okay. In this case I prefer the Foodsaver bags (but I will be trying other brands as the price for bags ridiculous.) Just wish I could find vacuum bags in the pint size. So far no luck. Anyway, this vacuum sealer is worth it.

I didn't have counter space for the bigger machine. This works perfectly for my needs. Very easy to use and really does the job.

DO NOT PURCHASE! THIS sealer doesn’t work! It never worked from the moment I received it! I had to purchase another to replace this one!! Wish I could return it. I missed my return window!

Rated 5 stars because I haven't see a better product available at the price. There are cheaper manual pumps but they would be tedious to use. The other vacuum gadgets which extract the air from the top of the bag are more logical because there's no extra valve and you can use the whole area of the storage bag but they are much bigger, especially for larger bags and, in general, they are more expensive.The vacuum device is simple to use and easy to store away when not in use. It efficiently removes air from the storage bags - if it feels too slow it's odds on you haven’t sealed the top of the bag properly.Any device which helps store fresh food longer has to be a good thing right? If you grow your own fruit and vegetables or pick up some bargains at the store you can use some, store some in storage bags in the fridge, and put the rest in the freezer. Very practical and should result in less wastage. The only note of caution is soft fruits and ripe fruit which do not fare well - I vacuumed 4 ripe Kiwi fruits in a small bag and the vacuum was so strong one of the Kiwis was squished, so use your common sense.It's too early to tell how practical it is to clean and reuse the bags but I'll update this review in due course and let you know.

Sehr praktisch das man die Lebensmittel noch länger einfrieren kann ohne das sie Gefrierbrant bekommen.Das Brot ist noch nach 2 Wochen super frisch und kommt direkt in den Toaster und ist wie frisch vom Bäcker.Die Saugkraft ist auch ausreichen und hat genug Power um alles aus dem Beutel zubekommen. Ebenso super das die Beutel wiederbenutzt werden könne. TOP

Das Gerät wurde erst zweimal benutzt, aber diese beiden Male waren nach ein wenig herum probieren, jedes Mal eine Erfolg. Habe die kleinen Tütchen für den Thermomix um dem Suisse vid kochen Eine Chance zu geben. Hat mich aber letztendlich genervt, darum liegt das Gerät in der Abstellkammer.

Neat, effective and well built - package includes bags of reasonable size. The seals work well, with vacuum holding for as long as required. Bags can be washed for reuse. Vacuum unit is neat and charge lasts a long time. Only minor downside is the safety feature, a silicon piece that you put between cap and body of pump to stop it being switched on in error in packaging and drawer: not as good as rest of package. Overall though: very good, and much easier to use than my full sized vacuum sealer - so gets used a lot more!

I got a sous vide machine for my birthday and was looking for something to vacuum sealI could have got one of the larger ones that can custom fit things but I didn’t really want all that plastic waste if I could help it, and it felt quite frivolous so I was looking for an alternativeThis is quite a good middle ground. The unit is small, fits in the palm of my reasonably small-for-a-guy hand, usb c chargesOnce you filled your bag and sealed it like any zip lock, you place the vacuum unit onto a small valve and press the on button until the device turns from green to red, takes about 30-45 seconds. 9 times out of 10 it’s worked really well, I was cooking some parsnips over Christmas and both bags lost their suction, other than that I’ve made plenty of meals and stored things like peeled potatoes in the fridge which have lasted way longer than they should.In a sentence, it’s a great little device.Not paid for this, just writing whilst my tea brews. Hope it’s helpful.
