This is wonderful for indoor use by a 10 year old who can’t sit still for one minute. The quality is amazing. He primarily uses it indoors but he has taken it outside and plays and practices with it. The color is just what he likes and wanted and it retains its inflation really well. The outside of the ball is quilt-lined. It’s sort of a durable soft cloth almost feeling like a padded quilt. It’s a winner for me because my boys love it. (And my wife doesn’t have to deal with them playing soccer in the house and destroying the house.) I can’t remember what I paid but I am not a person who spends his money unwisely. It must have been reasonable but the most important aspect is the enjoyment my boys get from it. I would repurchase this item.

The media could not be loaded. This indoor soccer ball is awesome. My kids have used it in our playroom (a bedroom) for many many hours, kicking it hard against the white walls and door, and it has not left any scuffs or marks. It bounces pretty well and has a nice heft similar to a regular soccer ball, but it has a fabric feeling outside which is what makes it softer and quieter. This is not a light squishy ball; properly inflated it is fairly hard (not quite as hard as a regular soccer ball). It can absolutely knock over or break things. What makes it quiet and for indoor use is the material that makes it quieter and non-scuffing. It’s perfect for use in our playroom.

it comes deflated so make sure you are prepared to inflate. The exterior material seems decent, but I need to get the pieces to inflate as it just came with the deflated ball.

The material of the ball itself is very soft but then you fill it with air and then it is strong enough to play but you can even use it at home if you want. My son loves it!

So I admit I made the mistake of ordering this ball for my 8yr old, thinking it was a universal(indoor/outdoor)ball. To my dismay, upon reading further and discovering this soft feeling soccer ball, I went ahead and pumped it up and tried it out. It is of fine quality and I feel it feel rugged enough to use outdoors. It is very soft and firm, but the surface does feel like it would not be able to take a beating with normal outdoor use. Having said that, it looks nice, it was easy to pump up and my kids will use it in one of our larger rec areas in our home. So for that point of view, this choice will not go to waste. If you do need a ball specifically for indoors, this one is highly recommended.

I think with soccer, more than any other sport, indoor needs to be taken with a grain of salt! This is a beautiful ball, feels great, the material is certainly softer and will be quieter when kicked, but I don't see it going any less hard or fast. No doubt this ball will provide a lot of fun! No pump included.

My 10 year old daughter is playing soccer this year so I wanted a size 4 ball for her to practice with. This Western Star indoor soccer ball is a good solution for the following reasons:- It is a size 4, as advertised. Hard to get a picture that shows that, but it is about 7.5 inches accross.- It's soft, so she can play with it inside if needed. It's not Nerf ball soft, but more like a volleyball soft with a fabric like exterior. The product posting says it is neoprene.- It's a nice-looking ball. Maybe that doesn't matter to some, but it looks cool.We've used it outside already, of course, even though it is an inside ball. It's showing some small signs of wear on the seams, so I'll keep an eye on that and update if necessary. But so far this is a great little ball.

We ordered this small indoor soccer ball for our grandchildren for when they come to visit. They play with it in the basement playroom. After a weekend the ball is coming apart at the seams. The children are 9 and 11. Too old for the ball?I've been downstairs playing with them and the ball. they sure don't seem to be overly abusive to it.Would not buy again.
