So be careful even when opening it initially not to set it on anything that it can get dirty or stain, as the dark residue is normal. They do this as it’s a coating finish to help extend the life of a chain. It can be annoying and frustrating, especially if you get it on your hands and don’t know it, but it is there for a reason. Just use caution when handling it or setting it down so you don’t get your hands or surfaces dirty.-Be careful when you get it and first opening, it’s fairly heavy to lift. Also be sure not to let it drop or fall out when initially opening it, as it could damage your foot or any surface it fell on due to how heavy it is.

We purchased a similar product with heavy straps and have been very happy with it. This chain version seems to be very heavy duty and well made. The hooks a quite large, and the 5/16 inch chain seems very strong. It has a great coating on it. The chain is black and the attaching points are red. This fit on the lifting clevice on our front loader bucket and worked perfectly. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I have only used this on one project and one stuck delivery driver.I had no issue lifting an MF135 while i rolled the front end out of the way and then lowerd the tractor onto stands so that I can work on the engine.I did have a delivery driver get stuck recently and they just could not listen to instructions so to keep them from backing off into a very dangerous falloff I used this to grab the back of their truck and drag them backwards close to my tractor with no way for them to steer the backend into a very bad situation.This was way easier to manage than the huge logging chains I would have used, and it performed flawlessly for these rather light duty jobs that I have used it on so far.This is a great addition to our shop.

I use this on the front end loader of my tractor which has chain hooks added to the top corners of the bucket. This give me a centered attachment point as the lifting ring is suspend in the center of the bucket facing downward. This is upside down from the normal way to use a lifting sling. Works well for me.

This is a solid chain. It is made well and holds well. Able to hold a good amount of weight

I added this to chain hoist setup in garage so I can have double loops for even lifting of things like ATV and riding mower. It works very well and is built heavy duty. It is just solid steel with nice coating on it to protect it. I have been using it and it works very well and should reasonably last forever. This is a great value.

This is a great sling. The chain and components are smooth so they won't catch on your gloves. A two leg sling made from five feet of 5/16" chain with large slip hooks. Strong enough to use with my mid size tractor for lifting and moving things around the farm. Finish is smooth so it isn't as easy to grab onto gloves. Works great with a small (1 or 2 ton) hoist.
