excellent tool
having used handsaws all my life and have used most of the branded saws including DISTONS and the like--this saw is as good as any of them for its intended use--first fix etc. it even shines on green timber IE. small logs up to four inches or so and providing you set yourself up right it is very productive in the garage/ workshop and can get through these at a respectable pace without the need for oxygen---worth 5 stars definitely.

Bought Irwin saws for the past 5 years. Ok not the cheapest but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. Certainly worth the cost. Quick delivery as well.

This is my go-to saw. I love Irwin saws for my various projects where I like to think I’m part of the barn wood builder crew; not sure if they’d agree when I’m sawing up pallets or other wood for my various projects but this Irwin does a brilliant job and never fails. You can’t beat a new Irwin first fix!

Just what you need to cut along the grain
Lovely handsaw, works extremely well for cutting along the grain. Did the job I needed to in minutes. Highly recommended for end-grain sawing.
