Bob Ross Damar Spray Varnish 11 oz

My oil painting dried faster. I did a light spray and it was ok to touch in certain areas, by the second day it was dry to touch. I didn't spray on the sides of the canvas where I make accidental marks during my sessions and it's been almost a week and still wet in those areas. Will spray again over finished product to see what it looks like before and after. I also use all BRoss products with this so I cannot vouch for how well it works with other brands.

The spray dries fast, but the shine doesn't last

Waste of money. Second time I ordered in six months. First order spray jammed halfway through the can second didn’t work at all. No returns. Work through the company not Amazon. They never replied. Total waste of money and time.

It seals you up and slows down (if not stops) the smudging that takes place when you touch the painting. So if you are in a bind and need to deliver a painting, this is your purchase.

I love this varnish. Most varnishes insist that you shouldn't use them unless the painting has dried for 6 months..and I cannot imagine waiting that long. I can spray this varnish once the painting it dry to the touch and it is a great finishing look. It make the colors more vivid, more like when they were first applied.It doesn't streak or shine. Great stuff!

Perfect for protecting freshly painted projects so you can move them without fear of smudging them. Plus, when the time comes to apply the final layer of varnish you can lightly dust the painting and you won't have a year's accumulation of dust stuck to the oil paint.

Easy to use. Convenient

Not really sure how this will work long term. Use outside-smells.
