LG OLED48C45LA 48-Inch OLED Evo 4K UHD Smart TV, (α9 AI Processor Gen7, Dolby Atmos, Freeview Play and Amazon Alexa, 120Hz), Umber Brown [Model 2024]

Despite its advanced specifications, the picture quality has not met my expectations, leaving me dissatisfied with my purchase. My old Samsung set had a much sharper picture. Additionally, the remote control system is overly complicated, making it difficult to navigate through the settings. This will be going back.

Out of the box, getting some of the little pieces (screws and base) ready to build the TV, they've given me a TV with the bottom left corner dented and bent around toward the rear side. The thing looks like it was built that way from factory, with no other visible damage or chippings on the screen. Seems I just got screwed! Will hope for a replacement without damage.

Turned on for the first time - 10 mins later it turned itself off and wouldn't switch on again! Tried other plug sockets and pressing the standby button underneath the set aswell as on the remote - nothing. Returned as faulty!

Straight out of the box,plugged in and all that happens is a blinking red flashing light tried all the tricks recommended on internet(power cycling, removing any HDMI cables) and still nothing. Will be returning it in the morning and will never buy another LG TV.

Very Sharpe pictures even in normal TV ariel mode. The TV is also lighter in weight when compared to the plasma TV I am replacing. Also very easy to set up and tune. The remote control needs some time to get used to. All the usual apps are available. A great TV.

4K and 120fps were the reasons I bought this - they work. Seems to link to Homekitbut I don't think its matter/thread compatible Great screen let down by TRULY AWFUL SOFTWARE 1. poor at reflections (like all OLED) 2. webOS is rubbish - eg poorly customisable 3. nowhere near as many useful apps as, say, TVOS (Apple TV 4K) 4. you cannot remove system apps you do not want 5. You have to endure the awful default imagery and screen setup from LG 6. There is no way to get rid of or change ALEXA as a voice assistant 7. firmware mods that work on older models no longer work AFAIK 8. you might navigate to a part of a list, do an action but then press escape, you do not go back to the entry point VERY VERY annoying it's 2025...c'mon LG

Fantastic TV picture quality excellent. Bought separate LG sound bar. Works together with same remote. Able to connect phone and plenty of other devices. Built in Alexa. Can view my security cameras right on the screen. Would highly recommend this TV.

Easy to set up. Great picture and pleasantly surprised by the sound. Mainly used for gaming and after about an hours play on tekken 8, super happy. Again it looks great but more importantly there's no input lag. If you're thinking about getting 1 for gaming...do it!
