Great fun and good sound
So I'm not an expert at speakers, sound equipment, or karaoke machines, but I can tell you this is the third one I've used and I, along with everyone else that sang with it, consider it a quality piece of equipment. It linked easily with an iPhone. We were at an outside party and it put out plenty of sound, and we didn't even have it maxed out. So many different controls and effects. The silly voices are hilarious to play with. We used karaoke music off of YouTube, but you can even play regular music and turn the vocals off if desired. Both mics worked equally well. The bonus light system adds some club-like appeal, but you can turn it off if desired. Volume can be controlled individually on both mics. It makes good singers sound great, and bad singers sound decent. It makes for great fun at a party and I can't wait to use it again. 5-stars from me.

Meh. Pass. However, find the TRUE power rating here in this review!
I am a "specs person". I believe that the value of an item is directly related to the specifications of that item. For instance, let's say you need a truck that will haul 2,000 pounds, or a 1-ton truck. So you go to the dealership and plunk down HUGE dollars for a truck that will haul the loads you need it to haul. Imagine how well it would go if the truck you bought to haul 2,000 pounds could only realistically haul 200 pounds.Imagine how happy you would be. Not very, right?Musical amplifiers are not unlike trucks. They have ratings. Specifications. And they have specific jobs they do.This "Karaoke Machine" is listed as having "650 Watt peak power".This is false. It is not only false, it's SO false that it's a flat-out lie. It's a manufacturer claiming their truck will haul 2,000 pounds when it will only haul 200 pounds. It is dishonesty, and it is blatant and intentional.Tucked at the bottom of the box is the AC/DC power adapter used to power this device. The listed output of this AC/DC power adapter is 15V @ 2A.In case you don't know Ohm's law, that's 30 watts.30 watts is so far from 650 watts its insulting and offensive. There is no "peak power", there is power. There is no magical way to rate power amplifiers, there simply is no governing law telling manufacturers what they can say here. They can say anything they want.QUALITY, HONORABLE manufacturers will represent their specifications EXACTLY as they are. If their amp is rated at 20 or 30 watts, they SAY 20 or 30 watts. Fly by night manufacturers looking to hock a cheap product will put whatever number suits them that they think will sell units. And for "2 10" subwoofers"? I hate to tell you this, but 30 watts is enough to power maybe a pair of 4" speakers adequately. It's certainly not enough to power "2 10" subwoofers".And like you might imagine, the audio performance from this is NOT like what you would expect from something with "650 watts" and "2 10" subwoofers". The sound output is very poor compared to what I would expect from something so equipped. It's what you would expect from a 30 watt budget clock radio. it's just in a big, flashy, cool looking cabinet with some karaoke functionality.About the only high side is the microphones, which are at least passable.I don't recommend this. It's specs are GROSSLY over stated, and companies that are ran that way aren't around for long to honor the inevitable warranty claims. 2 stars.

Easy to set up and fun for parties
This karaoke machine is just plain fun. It is 32 inches tall and has a built-in dolly handle and wheels, so it is easy to move around. The 2 included microphones are color coded so you can activate either one or both. There are holders on the side of the machine for parking the mics, but it also includes 2 tabletop mic stands. The colorful light display adds to the party fun when you fire it up. We bluetoothed it to our iPhones and iPad and then found online sources for songs. We weren’t able to hook it up to our non-smart tv, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The speaker is powerful and can really put out loud music if that is what you want. There are a bunch of different settings that you can use to adjust levels and effects, but we’ve not mastered that yet. This machine is a fun addition to our parties and game nights. Friends are already asking us to bring it over to their houses.
