Well made considering the low cost
This is my first optics I've purchased. Just trying to go from many years of iron sights so I wanted to keep the price down incase it wasn't for me. I mounted this to a dovetail plate on my Glock 30 in 45 acp. It took quite a bit of dry fire practice to find the dot. I shot it twice and it definitely helps accuracy. The adjustable brightness on the dot it helpful.

Went too cheap, but!!!!
Mounting hardware that’s provided is questionable. I haven’t even made it out to the range yet and it’s already acting up. Supposed to have a positive shut off by holding down the minus button for three seconds. It worked fine for a few days, now that fetcher does not work at all. I found it on in the middle of the night, never touched it. So battery life isn’t going to last. Again I haven’t even fired one round. I’m not holding out much hope it’s going to last. I’m always looking to find a good product and not pay an arm and a leg for it, but I’m thinking this one was a mistake. Update; I sent it back because it stopped working completely.Update on the update. I am now giving the CVlife company four stars. Not for the sight itself but for their customer service and follow up. They showed interest in what my experience was. And how to make things right. Most companies don’t care enough to contact the customer.

Subpar quality, get something else
The sight I received was not good. Even the box looked of suboptimal taste. Comes w 2 batteries. Put the first one: red dot doesn't turn on. Put the second, screwing down the lid was difficult. The threads are probably not fine (mating) and the coating is rough. Screwed down, racked it and off it came. Tried again: push down and turn... Took it to range: one shot and the cap and battery hit me in the face. Game over. I have plenty of sights and never seen something like this.

Okay Red Dot, there are better options...
This red dot works as intended. The housing is robust and the reticle is clear. However, mine came with the windage/elevation screws damaged and stripped - which I find hard to believe for a new red dot. In the budget category of red dots, I have had great experiences with Cyelees and Gowutar optics. Which have much better quality control, offer more features, and are at times cheaper than the current price on this. If you're willing to spend a little more, get a Holosun with proven reliability and can be found for under $200 on the non-solar versions on PSA or on OpticsPlanet with a coupon.

Excellent quality and value!
I have half a dozen other red or green dot sights, and this rates right up there with those costing 3 or 4 times more. Operating system is straight forward, simple and logical. The "Motion Activation" feature is very sensitive. I had this aimed at a spot across the room, not mounted but just sitting on a granite countertop. After 4 minutes of inactivity, it turns off the dot to save battery power as described in manual. I looked through it to make sure it was off, then tapped lightly on the heavy countertop with my fingernail - it instantly turned on. Motion Activation - Check! The dot is 2 mil size and brightness is manually adjusted with a quick push on a side button. It has 2 night vision as well as 8 regular settings. It's quite visible even in bright sunlight. When manually turned off by a two-second push on the right button, a quick push on the left button has it back on. You can also leave it on and let the motion activation feature extend battery life. Instructions state battery life is up to 500 hours on highest brightness setting and on lower settings can last up to 50,000 hours. Construction is solid, there's not a bit of plastic visible anywhere. It weighs 2.8 ounces and 3 ounces with the included rubber cover. It comes with two batteries and is powered by one CR1632 lithium button cell. Unlike some dot sights, the battery can be changed without dismounting this from the weapon and loosing zero. It comes with several mounting plates, including RMR, MOS (Glock), as well as a Picatinny mount, and 7 different sets of screws! My overall impression borders on astonishment - this is really very good! Considering the price, it's well beyond just very good.
