NEENCA Professional Hinged Knee Bracess AC-43

These are good. Very comfortable and supportive. I got 2 of them just as supportive as the ones I get at VA but instead of a open back and velcro it is a solid slip on design. It will take a little time to get used to that. I highly recommend these as an alternative to the scratchy ones from VA. If your a veteran or someone with knee pain these are a great unloader brace. Get you some.

The brace was PERFECT and did its job.. in my case I found out I had tears in meniscus and issues with sciatic nerve so I couldn’t wear the brace and asked for a refund. They were so understanding and refunded right away. But the quality of this brace is amazing and if you’re looking for a brace like this, choose this one. It’s the best one on Amazon.

This brace is a solid step up from the other Neenca sleeve style brace. The side hinges are larger & stronger than most. This is a larger model and is noticeable under clothing. It also states on the packaging that it is used as a post ACL surgical support device during rehab. I have not had the surgery yet but I can feel the added strength & support it give compared to the other Neenca model. I bought 2 of the lesser models to try and they helped my weak knees. I needed more support on 1 side so bought this model. It's overall size (6") above the knee and larger side supports make it visible under my pants but the end result is worth it.

I originally purchased an x large based on the sizing chart. I thought it was well made and provided good support for my knee which had meniscus tear due to combination of degenerative age issues and an injury. For sure the extra support lessoned pain and allowed my to play pickleball. It significantly reduced the occurences of the sharp pain that twisting or stopping causes when you have meniscus tear. However the xlarge was just a little too loose and I ran out of velcro on strap. I felt that I could get more support if i could make it tighter. I purchased the large and returned the xlarge. I think the large was just right except that in the upper right back side of the knee brace there is a seam that they sew closed at the top by folding over elastic and it is rough edge. It rubbed my upper back area of thigh about the size of a quarter raw pretty quickly. I am going to return this large and try another large hoping that this is just a defect in the seam. I think I would give it 4 or 5 stars if not for the seam rubbing me in that one spot because support is good. Of course it limits mobility somewhat, but that is expected and in a sense the object of the brace. Updated: Unfortunately, the replacement larg I ordered also had same defect. Again, I think this is a good brace and would have given 4-5 if not for the defect that appears to be just how they manufacture it. I will keep brace and just manage the skin abration with lotion before I put it on.
