Timing Tensioner Tool for Ford 2.3 OHC

Feels like a top quality product and arrived way sooner than expected.

Liked the product it worked like it was suppose to only problem I had was it kept coming loose after multiple uses cause the timing kept jumping a tooth when I get everything set and tighten down

I bought item before taught how to do belt tensioner job with small pry bar.

Did exactly what I needed! Could’ve had a little better of a shape, and better instructions. But all in all, it was a good purchase

Had to cut the back of the plastic timing cover on 96 ranger 2.3. For the tool to fit. But worked perfectly and made install super easy.

Like many reviews it is a little pricey, but if it's your first timing belt job like it was for me it is worth it. I had to release the tension 3 times to adjust the timing marks. Learned a lot with not too much cursing. Works good.

Yes, you can use a pry bar and maybe it will work and maybe you won't skin your knuckles or damage something. Just use this and resell if you are cheap? This tool works perfectly.

We all know 2.3l timing belt tensioners are a pain. This tool makes it easy. Definitely worth it.
