It doesn't leave much to the imagination, so I think only the most adventurous would wear it to the beach. It is a nice outfit for the bedroom too. The triangle for the bottom and top are the same size. They are about 3.5 inches high and about 3 inches at the widest point. The material feels like the standard bikini quick dry material. The strings are very stretchy.
