The Philips AC0950 works really well and quickly brings down PM2.5 levels. The display is accurate, it's quiet at night, and the build quality feels solid. The app is good and easy to use, but it definitely needs some improvements. Also, make sure your room is properly sealed for best results. Overall, a reliable and effective air purifier.

Wonderful product for small rooms, as experienced, cleans air from 500 PM 2.5 to 58 PM 2.5 with one person in room in just half an hour, however take more time with family of 4-5 especially in auto mode, if your room size is big or more members in family then should go for purifier with more CADR, must buy if you are staying in Delhi NCR region.

These are all scam products. They filter air and dust in but they really don't show correct PM 2.5 ratings. I kept two Philips side by side and one was RED and one was BLUE the entire time. Isn't that incredible. I took photographs to send to Philips for proof as well. This clearly shows a disparency between the two. One went down to 10 rating while the other stayed solid red for another 5 minutes before moving to PINK ! The smoke smell in the room remained making it feel that the lowest model was true to it's words while the higher end was just pretending to do things. Some people said they used "eggs" to confirm the PM level but I found wrong levels there too. It didn't match either the Series 3000 or Series 1000 levels and instead showed something even higher! So clearly, these products sold in India are not realistic or authentic enough to trust! There goes all my purchases over night! Anyone who has given a review has not really compared the two and what I did was compare both of the Philips products Series 1000 and Series 3000. I was hoping to keep both - one for home and one for office but this incident which happened randomly showed me neither are to trust. I would recommend someone who has both to put them side by side and start them up and you will see very contrasting results.I have attached photographs so that you can actually see what happens. Yes, the pre filters catch fine dust, etc but that could be done with vacuum cleaners too. The fact that the PM sensors are not correct and you can't really trust them. After this I tried them in various rooms - always together and got varying results in almost every situation. Yes, however if you keep both side by side for over an hour they eventually both go blue! However I did notice a few funny things, one's air movement constantly made the Series 1000 device change between Blue and Purple. I found that funny. However Series 3000 always showed PM under 20 and as low as 9 which I found ridiculous especially with my aquarium tops open and the smell coming through. The Series 1000 always seemed to figure out there was foul smell in the room as it avoided going blue in almost all cases.

Maintaining of Philips AC3256/20 is very expensive. It has two filters: Carbon Filter which costs Rs.1898.00 (Amazon price) and HEPA Filter which costs Rs.2099 (Flipkart price but shows sold out & Amazon India shows currently unavailable as on 15-10-2020). The total cost of these two filters is Rs. 3997.00 (present price). If this Philips Air Purifier runs regularly to get the optimal result, then after every 45 (forty-five) days, these two filters are required to be changed. In other words, there is a recurring expenditure of Rs. 3997.00 after every 45 (forty-five) days or Rs. 32420.00 per year (present price per annum). On the contrary, the yearly depreciation of the Unit is to be counted. Moreover, there may be a shortage of availability of one or both of these two filters for which this Philips Air Purifier is to be kept idle. Quality of working performance is another vital issue. I had used this Philips air purifier for 10 days’ replacement period. I used it in my bedroom for 150 Sq. ft., with a medium level of air pollution. The pollution level indicator remained blue right from the time I switched on the unit, indicating clean air. The PM2.5 was ranging from 1 to 18 and was very frequently fluctuating in between. Repeatedly I had to re-switch after cleaning the sensor. But the result was the same. I checked properly the installation process. Thereafter, with sunlight entering my room I could see dust particles floating around the room and near the unit while the unit indicator showed blue which means AQI is excellent. Surely the air was not clean. Finally, I had to return the product on Oct 8, 2020, after a one-time replacement on Oct 5, 2020. Alternatively, I have been using air-purifying plants in my living room, bedroom, drawing room, etc. These plants are available with Amazon India at a very low cost and without incurring any further recurring expenditure except soiling. Soil is also available with Amazon India. Here are some plants and their benefits: (1) Aloe Vera is very popular for its healing properties for the body; this perennial plant filters formaldehyde (CH2O) and benzene (C6H6) out of the indoor air. (2) Areca Palm plant is widely used to brighten up the interiors. This plant absorbs benzene, carbon monoxide (CO), and formaldehyde. (3) Dendrobium Orchid Burana Doll Compactum gets rid of xylene (C8H10), a pollutant that comes from glue and paint. (4) Snake plants can remove up to 107 known air pollutants including chloroform (CHCL3), formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, xylene, benzene, nitrogen monoxide (NO), and trichloroethylene (C2HCL3). There are many air purifier plants available in the markets.

I got it today only, will update my review later. But as of now it exceed my expectations. I can feel change in my rooms air. It hardly takes 5-7 minutes, to change the room’s air quality. Its very effective. But again I am saying its too early to judge . Display indicator also seems working accurately.
