These merino wool winter socks feel really comfortable for walking. They are really high socks, going up to below the knee. This is a very practical feature as they could help you to keep your legs warm, protecting them from any draught of cold air that could pass through the leg opening of your trousers during windy days. The socks seem well-made. Maybe they don’t feel so soft like a 100% merino wool, but please bear in mind that for the price of this 2-pack 60% merino wool socks, you won’t get one pair of pure merino wool socks (at least from good quality). I don’t intend to use these socks for skiing, but I will give them a good use for walking during autumn and winter.

These are really good socks that have a very good feel to them.They come up quite high, so for wearing boots they are perfect.The materials seem good and well woven. Says it has 60% Merino wool in the blend, but I have other Merino wool items that feel softer than these.No so much a criticism but an observation as the socks themselves feel very good to wear.Excellent!

Roll on the winter snow!I obviously haven't quite tested these up the mountain yet, but my floor in the house is pretty cold when the wind picks up so I tried wearing them one day standing at my desk and they were lush, didn't notice wearing them which is always a good sign, was lovely and toastie and they feel like really ice Merino wool, good stitching and well made, easy thumbs up from me on this set.

I wear my wellies everyday for dog walks and when it comes to the winter months then I usually just wear two pairs of socks at once but I had finally had enough of doing that and now I can wear these wonderful ski socks which actually keep my feet and legs toasty warm!I am a size 7/8 shoe size so got the size 6-9 and they fit me extremely well. The socks are excellent quality and the padding makes them so comfortable. The elastic cuff isn't too tight or too loose and the socks stay in place all day long.So happy with these socks and although I don't ski, they make the perfect wellie socks for the cold months of the year.

Incredibly comfortable and warm socks, tall to the knees, very soft, although I think it's a cotton-wool mix.

These socks are fantastic.The material is thick and dense enough to keep your feet warm whilst skiing, but not bulky enough to cause any problems squeezing into ski boots.The whole front-of-shin area has extra padding which is excellent for when you have to push into the front of your boots to make an aggressive carved turn.These are very, very good ski socks, and I can't wait for the ski season to start to try them out properly!

These winter soaks are very nicely made. Stated wool content is 60% and on the couple of colder mornings we’ve recently had they proved very warm when used as wellie socks.There is a slight bit of compression on the arch and forefoot which helps keep the sock stable when putting boots on and also to help with moisture wicking.I washed them at 30C, pulled into shape before drying and there was no noticeable shrinking.

Die Wandersocken haben eine gute Materialzusammensetzung. Sie sind sehr elastisch, was für einen angenehmen Sitz sorgt, aber ich finde es etwas unpraktisch, dass nur Handwäsche empfohlen wird.Die Socken sind atmungsaktiv und reichen bis knapp unter die Knie. Sie sind dick und halten im Winter wunderbar warm, was sie für Frauen und Männer gleichermaßen geeignet macht. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, und die Socken sehen insgesamt sehr robust aus.Besonders gefällt mir die Polsterung an der Ferse und den Zehen. Hier ist der Stoff doppelt verstärkt, was längeren Strecken deutlich angenehmer macht und Fußschmerzen vorbeugt. Zudem dürfte die Verstärkung an den meist beanspruchten Stellen der Langzeithaltbarkeit zu Gute kommen. Ich trage Größe 40, und die Socken passen perfekt. Auch der Preis, für 2 Paar Socken, ist völlig in Ordnung für die Qualität, die man bekommt.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden – ideal für lange Wanderungen im Winter!

Die Socken sind angenehm weich und haben das Wollprogramm der Waschmaschine problemlos vertragen.Zum Wandern taugen sie sehr, ich werde sie an warmen Tagen auch zum Snowboarden einsetzen, da die Passform wirklich perfekt ist!Die Naht am großen Zeh ist schön klein und wird keine Druckstellen verursachen.Für das tolle Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, die Materialqualität und den hohen Anteil an Merinowolle (kein unangenehmer Geruch) vergebe ich volle 5 Sterne.

Von meiner Frau getestet:Die Strümpfe wurden uns im Rahmen des Vine-Programmes zur Verfügung gestellt.Bei der Bestellung lautete der Titel bei Amazon noch 3 Paar Socken, auf den Produktfotos war allerdings zu erkennen, dass es sich nur um 2 Paar handelt. Mittlerweile wurde der Titel zwar korrigiert, ich ging aber noch von 3 Paar Socken aus. Nunja.Die Strümpfe an sich sind toll. Schön hoch, schön dick, schön kuschelig, schön warm.Sie sind im Fußbereich verstärkt, so dass man auch nach längerer Wanderung keine Schmerzen im Fußbereich bekommt.Auch nach einem langen Tag drücken sie nicht so doll wie andere Socken - die Füße fühlen sich angenehm unterstützt an.Toll :)

Das erste was mir auffiel: Es sind 2 Paar Socken. Doch aktuell steht in der bezeichnenden Überschrift folgendes: CAOZITOU 3 Paar Merino Wandersocken...Auf den Produktbildern hingegen steht 2er Pack. Das ist verwirrend und irreführend, daher einen Stern Abzug.Ansonsten machen die Socken einen ordentlichen Eindruck, ausgiebig testen kann ich sie leider nicht, da sie mir zwar im Fußbereich passen, jedoch am Unterschenkel nicht. Jeder Körper ist anders, meiner hat recht ordentliche Beine abbekommen, somit sind die Socken nichts für jemanden, mit dessen Fett erteilung es der liebe Gott nicht ganz so gut gemeint hat. Also wer zum Beispiel bei Stiefeln manchmal Probleme hat sie zu zu bekommen und sich bei meinem Problem angesprochen fühlt, sollte sich den Kauf sparen.Mehr kann ich leider nicht sagen, da ich nur kurz reinschlüpfen konnte.
