[BACKGROUND] I already have a case for my phone but needed something that would connect to a magnetic phone stand in a vehicle. I was curious about the wire attachments, how they worked, and what other functions they could serve.[+/-] PRICE: I don't know of any similar products (so I have no real comparison), but the price seems higher than what I'd actually pay for this type of item. Still, it's something I've never seen before, so maybe that's why?[+] PACKAGING: Everything was nicely packed into a compact box. In addition to the main magnet, it includes 2 metal discs, 2 flexible (wrapped) metal wires, an alcohol swab, and instruction book (with photos!).[+] MATERIALS: The IMStick is SUPER strong magnet (box states it contains "neodymium magnets that are safe for phones, tablets, and GPS navigators"). The flexible wires are coated with silicone. Also lists aviation aluminum & steel materials in its construction.[+] FUNCTION: I think it's pretty cool that, after attaching a metal disc to the back of my phone case, I can use the IMStick itself as a phone stand or mount on just about anything (my refrigerator, gym equipment, & more). I really like how the wires are inserted into the IMStick in order to stay in place (whereas they aren't connected correctly in my pic 3).[OVERALL] This product is pretty cool & has so many versatile functions (as long as a magnet can stick to the surface). The fact that the magnets in this product are safe for my phone/devices is another plus in my book.*5 STARS* For the design, materials used, and functional versatility.

I was pretty skeptical about this when I pulled it out of the box. A metallic disk and two bendy wires? To my surprise It actually works quite well. You thread one of two bendy wires (red or black) through the middle or around the outside of the disk and then bend it to whatever position you want. Can bend into a hook to hang on something, wrap around a pole/handlebar(s), bend downward as a stand, etc. Infinitely adjustable, very versatile. On top of that, the disk is magnetic on both sides so you can stick your phone to any ferrous surface. The magnet is quite strong. It's very nice quality for what it is. Overall pleased and use it often.

The IMstick magnetic phone holder is a clever little gadget. The silicone wires make it easy to attach your phone securely to various surfaces, whether in the car, kitchen, or even on your bike. The magnet is strong enough to hold my phone in place, even on bumpy rides. It’s a bit bulky for some uses, but its versatility makes up for it.

This is a very interesting item for my iPhone, that I haven’t ever seen before. It’s a small, wired device that acts as a mini tripod, locking (magnetically) to the device & making it stand up easily, for filming tik toks, watching workout videos & exercising along, taking a family photo at the holidays, etc.. But the price seemed high. I never saw anything like it, but it seemed a tad inflated. If you get to use it for numerous purposes, I now think you’re getting your monies’ worth 👍.It bends to securely attach to your bicycle without any need to mount a separate device to your handlebars. It’s great for the gym where being small and light, & discreet is SO important. It holds right on to certain machines, which is pretty cool.I think it maybe could be cheaper by maybe 5 bucks or so, but with its many uses, and the fact that it’s strong, made well & not flimsy, I believe it will last a long, long time, so I’m feeling quite lenient towards the price tag, due to everything taken in, as a whole.4.5 stars, rounding up ⬆️ for these reasons :).⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + 1/2** I hope my review has been helpful 😊! **

First and foremost, this looks smart. I mean, look at it! Aesthetics aside, this is a useful attachment in a myriad of circumstances but isn't for everywhere. For example, I personally don't think I'd feel confident attaching it to my bicycle frame and hoping it doesn't come off. However, it's great at winding around your sun visor or steering wheel in a stationary car, or on your shopping trolley 😂 Your imagination is its only limit really. You can manipulate the wire into a stand (vertical/horizontal), you can hang it from fixtures. The lists goes on and on, and it'll be a lot of trial and error, but that's half the fun!The product comes packaged in a plastic, resealable bag and has an extra black wire, as well as two circular metal plates that can be used on your phone case or the back of your phone, for example. Be aware that this ISN'T Magsafe compatible (it's smaller than its Pro itineration) and will only clamp on to the included metal plates (or equivalent) that come with this item. Also, please be aware that this thing is fairly heavy - I'd say it's not something I'd keep attached to my phone all the time and carry around. It adds some extra weight to your already heavy phone. It's an attachment that you'll be using as and when you need it.Overall, I like this a lot (although not quite as much as its more expensive Magsafe-compatible brother). It looks and feels premium (after peeling off the protective film off both sides, it has a wonderful soft silicone-type feel to it), its magnet is very strong, and although a bit expensive I do think you get your money's worth. Recommended if it's something you think you'll be able to use in all its versatility. 4.5 stars.

I would recommend seeking alternatives that prioritize a robust magnetic connection and overall stability

The loss on=f a starts really my fault. When Isee a picture of something like this on the back of an iPhone I assume it means it is MagSafe. On this I was was wrong. I need one of the supplied metal discs stuck on the back of my phone or on a phone case. That then spoils MagSafe for home and charger.The item itself is well made, solid, strong magnet and a mass of uses. Just not for my MagSafe phone.
