100 BEST GRAYSCALE coloring pages by Alena Lazareva: Perfect Gift for Coloring Book Fans. Coloring Book for Adults (100 Grayscale coloring pages)

I have had an Alena Lazareva book before so I thought it a good idea to try this book. Alas, this was not the book for me - and as it was very expensive I returned it for a refund. Some of the fairy and oriental pictures were fine although the greyscale on some was so dark they looked like a photograph, other fairies were so basic a child could colour them in. when you 'look through' the book the ones that are coloured in look fantastic - but when you see them in b&w they are not so good, that strangely shaped large cat features several times too. I wanted to like the book but could find less than 20 that I really wanted to colour and out of 100 pages that is not so good. Luckily we all like different things so it might be just the book for you.

The artwork is gorgeous but coloured pencils do not layer and blend in this book I’ve tried prismacolor and arteza castle arts they just slide over top of the paper making it a shiny mess , for the price I would of expected to be able to use pencils in this book , however markers work great and the art is gorgeous

I love this book! So many beautiful pictures! It is hard to choose which one to color. Grayscale is not too dark, just right.
