The recommendation on the package (1/2 tsp per 8 oz beverage) would size up to 4 teaspoons for 2 quarts of tea. I found it took 4 tablespoons, or 3 times the suggested amount of powdered tea, to reach a strength to my household's liking. And we do not add ice to our tea (why I wrote cold tea, rather than iced tea).v The taste was quite acceptable at what I deem to be proper strength. Tea leaves ground to powder will not impart the same aroma and flavor to a tea beverage as tea made from larger leaf particles , especially when steeped, from the same tea plante, but we like the convenience. The photo on the product is misleading, because it is easy to infer that the product itself is dried cut tea leaves. The product description on Amazon and the package, however, do clearly state that is is a powder of ground tea leaves.
