I work in network engineering and I test communication devices extensively. I am QUITE impressed by the data loads this unit can handle and deliver. 100% a Good Purchase, and most important, read the fine print, is the Lifetime Warranty. This thing is a Realtek chipset, which is as reliable and as vast as intel chipsets. over the Intel version this was 39% faster than the intel in gaming and streaming and backward compatible. They include a mini-cd, but who uses them anymore? Anyhoo... easy to install, OS recognition is based and website updates easy. Best Bang for the Buck. I will be testing future models from this company brand. It is a SOLID BUY and flexible for the $$$.

I have a 5year old Dell desktop computer which had a 1gps network speed. My internet router thruput has been upgraded to 2.1 Gbps download speed, so I was not using all available thruput. So, I purchased the BrosTrend 5gbs nic card. The packaging did come with an additional Nic adapter and driver mini cd. I downloaded the Driver from the website before making any changes just to already have ready once the nic is replaced. Used the downloaded driver file and installed without any issues. Followed instructions, restarted computer, attached ethernet cable, then restarted the router. Attached a screenshot of the latest SpeedTest result. Needless to say, I am thoroughly satisfied with the results. So now I am receiving 2.118 GBPS download. When I checked my internet account online, it showed my plan is for 2.1 gbps speed. Interestingly, I am receiving greater download speed then my internet account specifies.

Okay, I know Google Fiber is coming soon, and I currently have 1 Gig fiber service with Quantum Fibre, and as soon as I installed the new Ethernet Card and tested the increase in speed in upload and download, it was as advertised. Very good improvement.

Small footprint and easy to install. Windows 11 picked it up and installed the driver immediately. I am now able to use my full 5gb speeds. I highly recommend this network card!

Very fast and I love anything that makes a computer and the network it is on FAST!!! I am not very familair with this brand,but I thought I would give it a go! It works really well and I am impressed with the brand so far. Keeps the connection and it is built pretty good. It is packaged well for protection and comes with a small form factor bracket. Great so far.

Up graded Internet to a much faster Fiber service and needed a faster NIC card for my desktop computer. This appears to be working well after installing updated drivers from the company’s website. Thus far working well and even though my internet speed is 2 Gbps, this can handle higher speeds down the road should I choose to do so, since it supports up to 5 Gbps, speed. Thus far after about 10 days, works well at a good price.

Works great. The only wrinkle was during installation. My motherboard has a Qualcomm chipset. I installed this new PCI network adapter and the provided Realtek drivers and then activated this adapter in Device Manager. I disabled the motherboard's Qualcomm adapter in Device Manager. Settings reported that this new board was working properly, but I could not connect to the Internet with my LAN cable connected to this new adapter. As an experiment, I connected my LAN cable back to the LAN connection on my motherboard. This reestablished Internet access. Go figure! My download speed has gone from under 100Mb/s to the maximum speed from my cable service provider, 275Mb/s.

Easy install and worked immediately on Windows 11 with no driver download or other issues. Easy peasy!

Très bonne carte réseau, l'installation est simple, les débits sont conforme (entre 4.5 et 4.7 gb/s sur freebox delta) la latence est excellente (2 a 3ms). Installation avec un câble de cat 5e de 7 mètres. Au delà de 10m, prévoyez la catégorie 6 voire 6a. afin d'obtenir les meilleurs résultats.

Verry nice card good development Mine was made on Monday . Bad connection went slowly and came back on . But not in 2.5 speed got stuck on 1800 ghz . Ik had to send back for warenty . Waiting for pay back and i order a new one going for 5ghz .

As expected, a good product

I only have access to a 2.5Gbps network. Test copied a ~11.5GB file from another Windows PC with a 2.5Gbps NIC. I was copying from was a 7200RPM SATA 3 HDD which is probably why my speed was capped at 285MB/s. Immediately hit 283 to 285MB/s and transfer rate was consistent to completion.
