This appears unidirectional. I have a gambrel roof and would like to mount near ridge. Is there a min pitch requirement to install?

No, there is no minimum pitch. It is able to be waterproofed even on a flat roof. We are always here to take your questions and offer specifications. We also have extensions available for dropped ceiling applications.

can I install on a wall?

Yes, you can. We have extensions for the solar tube on our Amazon store you may need one for going thru a wall. Keep in mind the flashing is designed as a pitched roofing application. But done properly will work on a wall application.
